Agree about the standard of MotoGP, last season and the start of this year it's been excellent. Having said that I'm not a huge fan of Lorenzo or Marquez so crossing my fingers that Vinales, Rins et al step up to the plate as regular challengers soon.Been to every British Motorbike Grand prix since 1993 and apparently I went to one in the mid 80s when I was only 6 months old too. Used to be into WSBK too but haven't been for 15-20 years or so - ie since the Foggy days.
Watch every Moto GP live and it's as good now as it's ever been. They're true heroes.
So yeah, I'm a reasonable fan.
I don't really care who wins these days. Lorenzo, Marquez, Rossi et al are all class so I'm happy regardless of the result. I do miss Casey Stoner though. :-(Agree about the standard of MotoGP, last season and the start of this year it's been excellent. Have you ever been to an overseas Grand Prix? Always wanted to see Rossi race in Italy so I've probably only got 3 chances left!
Traded it in for a cycling version. He's riding the Tour Divide, a 4500km mountain bike race in the Rockies so he's giving the tt a miss.I can't warm to Dunlop; he is mighty quick, but he comes across as bland and cold.
What happened to Guy Martin this year, he hung up his helmet?
Ah yeah he does like those endurance cycling events right enough.Traded it in for a cycling version. He's riding the Tour Divide, a 4500km mountain bike race in the Rockies so he's giving the tt a miss.
Agreed, think it's been an excellent season all round really. 7 different winners in 7 races is impressive, could do with Dani or Dovi winning next to keep the run going! Don't think that'll be the last time we see Vinales on the top step either. Looked like a MotoGP winner since his first ride on the 125, but to get the win on the Suzuki is a stunning effortAt the British MotoGP at Silverstone today, just trying to get out of the car park. That was a hell of a race and definitely worth watching if anyone gets a chance.
He's clearly a class act, he's been on the back of the Hondas, Yamahas and Ducatis all season so it was only a matter of time before he finally broke them. It seems that Cal has also found his mojo too - he beat Rossi and Marquez in a straight fight in the dry today, and on a weaker bike.
