Easy 3 points for Colchester. Reckon 3-0, although 5-0 wouldn't surprise me as The Fraud is still our manager.

No doubt Joe and the other Tony Mowbray (The Fraud) apologists will be in here soon telling me how amazing The Fraud is!!!

No chance...unless we get a new manager.

Can't wait for next season when we're top after 15 games then finish 15th - the Mowbray effect!!
strange side coventry looked like league challengers...all gone wrong :dk:

Not that strange - look at The Fraud's managerial history!! His teams are well known for performing brilliantly for 15 games or so, before going on a terrible run and finishing mid table...

Our league record playing on Tuesday evenings this season:

P 08 W 04 D 03 L 01 F 13 A 09 +4 15pts from 24

18/08/2015 Colchester United 0 - 0 Oldham Athletic
15/09/2015 Sheffield United 2 - 3 Colchester United
29/09/2015 Colchester United 2 - 0 Bradford City
20/10/2015 Colchester United 2 - 1 Port Vale
24/11/2015 Colchester United 2 - 3 Crewe Alexandra
19/01/2016 Colchester United 1 - 1 Fleetwood Town
16/02/2016 Colchester United 1 - 1 Chesterfield
01/03/2016 Bradford City 1 - 2 Colchester United

If only we could play all our games on a Tuesday, we’d be in with a shout of automatic promotion...

Alas we haven't won at Coventry for 59 years:pond: and our away form is tragic:surr: :hb:, so I fear another hammering on this painfully long goodbye to L1 :bye:

Blademan89, I have never said anything of the sort.

I have always had the opinion that he was a poor manager and surprise surprise, yet again, DH84 is proven right.

Mowbray came with massive question marks over his managerial career. Took WBA up to prem on record points but apart from that his sides always start well then implode post Xmas.
Very few were fooled, we just thought he may have learnt from previous seasons and learn his lesson.

We had terrible injury problems especially in defenders , but I have from the very first game yelled from the rooftops that we need an experienced keeper, instead of two untried u21 keepers who had rarely played at this level.
He is signing players at last on contracts instead of loanee's who love the club one minute then stop playing when the going gets tough.

I don't want him sacked but I want him to be given a chance until Xmas and see where we are. He likes playing attacking football which is a massive plus but for a defender he seems clueless to why it's gone tits up, like not seeing how many goals our keeper costs us

Exactly.

Most fans don't want Reda Johnson to be offered a new contract because he only plays 15 games a season...so why do we want a manager who's teams only perform for 15 games a season!!

Mowbray had seemingly turned it around for the club by November. Since then he has been as worse as any other manager we have had in the last 15 years.

Yes, there have been injuries, but his player recruitment has become woeful. Signings such as Darius Henderson, Lateef, Ramage are a far cry from what he managed earlier in the season.

How you can win 4 games since going top of the league in November with the squad we have is pretty embarrassing.

In fairness, Dion used to rip shit out of Joe when he used to lump praise upon Mowbray.

And Joe used to slate me when I said how poor we were.

Because Joe is a blind optimist. Was Tweeting about POs still today as well.

We literally have no chance. We would have to win about 6 games... It has taken us about 4 months to win 6 games.

Fucking drama queen...

It will be a typical boring midweek game. Colchester will bring 70 fans and we'll stumble to a one nil win.

Henderson and Ramage were desperation signings. Lateef was a gamble which didn't pay off, he was probably only on £500 or less so probably viewed as worth the gamble.
I was very happy with the work he done last summer, he transformed the squad from what was essentially a league 2 squad which the previous manager had built into a squad that until January time was competing for the top 2. Given another summer, I think he can improve the squad even further and we will be a better team again next season.

Haha. Are you Tony Mowbray himself?

Look through The Fraud's managerial history, his teams perform for 15 games a season!! Given another Summer, he'll have us top 2 by November then we'll win 2 in 24 and finish 16th!!! He does it everywhere he goes.

Do you want Reda Johnson to be offered a new contract? If you say no, you must want Tony Mowbray (The Fraud) to be replaced to, as both are only of use for 15 games a season!!

It's not November anymore. The Fraud's teams lose most games after November. Colchester will win pretty comfortably (hopefully)

For me, it is very hard to see this as a working progress. The vast majority will be playing elsewhere next season.

8, yes EIGHT points clear of the play offs.

Embarrassing.

So the 'massive progress' being made is that we're going to finish 15th instead of 17th.

Get real SkyBlueElephant, The Fraud is a worse manager than both Andy Thorn and Steven Pressley!!! So we should keep him because he had us top for a few days, haha, deluded. We are going to finish bottom half (just like Pressley) with a much better squad!!!!

Once you lose the support of a respected committee member like DH84, there's no way back....

*Tony Mowbray (The Fraud) apologist*

Look at the progress we've made...we're going to finish 15th instead of 17th...he's the best manager in the league for achieving that with a terrible squad.

DH84 LAUGHS at all the Tony Mowbray apologists!!!!

The Fraud tries to brainwash the fans but DH84 is too smart for that and can see through his cunning plans!!!

It's funny how 99% of fans don't want Reda Johnson to be offered a new contract because he's only of use for 15 games a season but love a manager who's teams only perform for 15 games a season!!
