I forgot how many years I used ITTB many good laughs a lot of nice people but I hate it when bob for example gets all his topics hijacked buy pricks that don't even go to matches
its a combination of factors for me that made me say feck it
once I stopped enjoying posting on it I realised it was time to move on
Admin (Darren) is a nice guy but his bunker pals kill it

They really are having minimal influence these days ... If you think Bob talks sense back him as I do , if you disagree just point it out with humour .... I wouldn't care , Bob's a big ugly monster , he could growl at most of his critics and they'd wee themselves

Richo, you should just do some light selective posting on ITB every now and then, people (like myself) enjoyed reading your posts.
I'm going to stick around this place for a while like as it seems fairly good.
I like how one of the threads I've looked at has been Bingham hijacked! I can see that being a theme for as long as the Bingham thread keeps going.

The problem with the bunker is its impossible to have a different opinion and have a little debate without it leading to someone threatening to come round and put your windows through .... people go on about banter , banter only works if you win some and you lose some , with good grace and humour ....

one thing I do notice when we win it seems dead but when we lose it springs to life
full of fans that don't go to games ok the exiles can't help that but loads on bunker live local and don't go till a freebie is thrown to them yet they have the biggest gobs lol

If you look at the Bunker these days all the old heads are gone. That's the way they wanted it. Impressionable kids make better fodder. Thinking people not welcome.

Read the post counts under the usernames. They're all in the hundreds now. I stopped posting regularly at about 18k

John's practically handed it over to Mark 'I know everything and you know nothing' D****n.

Is the troublesome one the one that posts on both boards? When I moved to ITB he had 28 posts, suddenly he's on every post I make.

Yea your favorite .... no one bites on ITB though .... If he wants to talk about football or biscuits I will engage him.... otherwise I just let him keep on fishing .... its hard finding any humour on the Bunker and I despair when all people can do is slag off for no apparant reason .... I have recently joined Facebook and the Pools supporters page , some of the kids on there take things far too serious , I try to get a bit of humour going but it's a losing battle .... can you do FB there ?

I thought that was the gadgie you meant.He's a typical current Bunkerite. Nowt good to say about anything unless he can follow it up with something bad. Permanent sneer on his face so to speak. He even sneers at Bob just for being a dedicated fan. His posturing hatred of IOR who took a nowhere club and made them into a competitive nationally respected team is ludicrous. Yes they lost their way and we almost sank but we'd have sunk years ago if it wasn't for them, but they stole the transfer money, they stole the season ticket money, they don't have to pay VAT and they're liars. Ludicrous.

This thing with Bob is jealousy .... he's managed to retire early , has enough to go to every home and away game plus his hobby is to help out around the ground .....I admire/ aspire to that

Your welcome Aber , football is about opinions , there is no right or wrong ones , just an opinion , I enjoy ITB cos I can have a bit of banter with a fellow Poolie who sees things slightly differently to me , and here I can do the same on a national scale ..... We all ultimately want the best for our clubs , but their is a right and proper way of going about things ......... I may have said this before Aber , when it comes to my Bristols I prefer yours !!

He was so close to getting the Pools job before the last clown we had , or the one before that ( we've had a few ) anyway Clarke is one of those ex players who will always get a great reception when he returns ; Mr Dependable he was , and when he cried when you went down was just typical if him .... If you get shot of him you need your heads looking at .... The City thing goes back to our play off games with them , but completely seperate , you lot bring a good natured healthy support up here no matter how you are doing , in my mind your 2 divisions below where you should be , but while you insist on playing us , I'm afraid we must insist on beating you !

Just a shot in the dark. To be brutally honest I think we all thought we were dead in the water by Christmas. If it wasn't for the inspired decision to get Ronnie Moore in we would have been but he turned a sow's ear into a...errrr......lame donkey and we got over the line on three legs.

Looking better than fair now.

I think Andy Monkhouse did quite well for you last season too, along with Jermain Easter, both ex-Poolies. Nice couple of links for the clubs.

Clarke was a good player when we had a cracking side,he's good laugh if you see him out.
Can still remember him singing 'we hate Darlo' with Pools fans in Church Street after we stuffed them 4-0.

Nah , my not so little one ..... it was the 0-0 of the season before last , I remember Bob's "quiet" entrance into the Crown and whoever he was with they stood near the front of the terrace and made a racket all the way throughout ..... I'm never going to the pictures with him that's for sure
