That Nintendo shite was out straight away. Dirty Saffi too isn't to my taste. Not a fan of jazz or metal so that only leaves the punk option. Not much of a fan of punk either but I quite liked "Riot Squad".

Cock Sparrer - Excellent oi band, would have been more likely to vote for them if Shock Troops was the album put forward.
Chet Baker - Strangely enjoyable - had heard of Chet before but not listened to this, will download it now though.
Dirty Saffi - Had never heard of these before, I like what I could find on youtube from this album though. Another to download.
Megadeth - I appreciate the riffs etc but Mustaine's voice ruins Megadeth for me.

OFFICIAL VERDICT - Voting for my own nomination here but I enjoyed a few selections from the group.

Not a fan of Megadeth at all, in fact, tbh, I dislike them or to be more precise, I dislike DM. Still, Dave M and his band mates did actually spend some time to compose the music and write the lyrics. Now I don't know if it was written in 3 days or 3 years, but I'm certain more time was spent on it than Alec E spent on his album, which was circe 5 mins.

Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of artists whose work other people look down on and dismiss out of hand, so I know all about experimental music. But I also know what is experimental and what is crap, because the artist is simply taking the piss (a la Lou Reed and his MMM Double (!) Lp)

Nintendo's lp is so good that Steven opted for the vinyl edition and not the cd version. We all vinyl is superior to digital..............
