3 episodes in myself, started watching it last night. Not quite up to the standards of the 1st series yet, but still very good and well worth a watch.

Anyone else started watching?

Watched the first 4 and it's been very good despite most comments being 'it's not as good as the first' - which it was never going to be given the source material - the more interesting Escobar stuff has been covered. The first season stretched across years and this one will I assume culminate in his death which is about what, 12 months after he escaped El Catedral?

Up to episode 6, really enjoying it so far.

Escobar's life starting to collapse around him.

Watched the first couple. Pretty good. I saw it's been renewed for another TWO seasons! They are gonna have to procrastinate like fuck about bringing in his death scene, as it can't be too far off in the actual timeline, right?

It's going to be about the other gang!

Finished the season last night, dragged on a bit towards the end but none the less still a decent show.

Very much enjoyed that season. I was skeptical about future seasons too but they've done just enough to build up the Cali lads to represent a worthy replacement to Escobar (who was portrayed superbly).

Great show.

It seems Escobar's son, who has since changed his name, does not agree with a lot of the Narcos adaptation of his father's life, even though they do admit it's a dramatisation.

I have seen people's reviews on series 2 saying it's not as good as the first series but i disagree,to watch the downfall of a man who thought he was untouchable is superb.

yeah, I think they've made that as clear as possible - they've changed about 90% of the names for starters to avoid any claims - and the two blokes who seemed to be the main advisors are the two DEA agents (Pena and Murphy), so I mean, you know what you're going to get there.

Series 2 was class, as was series 1. Am I the only one who felt a bit sorry for Pablo? The police and government were every bit as corrupt and murderous as he was.

Looking forward to season 3 and the cali cartel.

Feeling sorry are perhaps not the right words, but I think I know what you mean - certainly before he blew up the building in the heavily populated area near the Presedential office. After that though, his claim to care for the people of Colombia and all that came with that was nothing but bollocks, as he killed an awful lot of innocent civilians and from there on he began to lose control of everything.

Was just about to ask does anyone know what sort of direction the show is going to go in after Escobar's death.

Great show.

I certainly didn't feel sorry for Escobar as you reap what you sow. Thought nothing of killing women to shop them helping the police and the murder of innocent men, women and children because he lost his temper.
