I haven't read a book in a long while, so I might just do that. Before seeing Narcos I only ever knew of Escobar as simply a Columbian cartel chief. Eye opening.I'd like to see more one season series chronicling history like this. I love the way it portrays Escobar as the sympathetic family man that is a cold, ruthless monster. The show has perfectly dramatised the whole event. I love the narration and the real life footage moving the narrative. Wagner Moura is quite sensational in the part of Escobar.
The only gripe I have is it not showing the footballing aspect of Escobar's life, how he would pay players to come to his land and play against the team essembled by another Narco.
If you haven't read 'Killing Pablo' and you enjoy this then it's a must.
