Can't believe how much silly money three of the brothers have spent and they are still going to let Boreham wood, Halifax and Bromley finish top 3.

Bloody sort it.
3 of the brothers! Don't pretend you didn't give Shaun Pearson £15k per week to sit on your bench.

P.s anyone that's due to play Kings Lynn they were a more than decent team last night. Time will tell if it's a new manager bounce but I was surprised given there position how organised they were and how decent on the ball they were. They were a decent finisher away from taking something last night I think.

Gold Omatayo isn't half a nuisance on those big diags aswell. Even if he couldn't hit a barn door.

They certainly won't be easy beats if that's the new them under a new gaffer

Thanks for the comment but to be fair I am not sure we are yet that different under Widdrington than we were under Culverhouse other than maybe a few putting in a bit more effort to 'impress'. This season has been all about the two boxes, our back line are all capable of individual mistakes that week in, week out have cost us as we have had absolutely nothing in the opponents box, Omotayo hasn't got a league goal in 16 starts and as a team we have failed to score in 10 of 19 games

Good for us on a tuesday night. When there is no real away following. Although credit to the 32 from Kings Lynn.

I have this argument with a Bradford supporting mate of mine all the time. If attendances mattered they wouldn't be 14th in league 2.

What happens on the pitch is what counts at the end of the day. ;)

Of course attendances matter... its where most of the money comes from.

What’s this turd you keep coming out with about getting excuses in?
Since you're too thick to work it out, I'll explain it, chuck. YOU KEEP GETTING YOUR EXCUSES IN EARLY. There. Not rocket science, was it. :ds:

It's a disgrace! There should be 2 and a half thousand minimum, no matter how many away fans turn up. I suspect this is the chairman's last throw, he'll finally open his cheque book in the New Year to push on for the title, but if the fans don't turn out the penny will drop that he's wasting his time and money in Halifax. And he'll be right. They were starting to have a go at the players last night before the first goal and they gave them dogs abuse at Kidderminster. I amazed he's stayed so long. :ds:

Brotherhood entry DENIED.
Already in it, Pal. I am the SOLE founder and SOLE administrator of The Brotherhood. I ALONE decide who's in it and who isn't. Membership is for all time, no member may leave, no new members may be admitted. Members are those clubs present in 1986, the last legitimate season of the Football League. Form your own Mickey Mouse organisation with your own Mickey Mouse rules if you wish, but The Brotherhood is MINE and mine ALONE. :ds:

I meant in terms of on field results. Attendances don't hold a lot of teams back.

Was he bullied off, like the Salford fan?

The Salford fan was never bullied. He just left the forum after a few facts about Salford City FC were manoeuvred in his direction.

I think he was called 'salfordian'. I'm still not sure to this day whether 'Salfordian' is what you call someone from Salford, or whether he was a bloke from Salford called Ian.

Attendances didn't hinder Macclesfield, Barrow, Sutton or FGR all of whom had significantly lower gates than anything Notts/Stockport/Chesterfield and Wrexham can muster.

what utter bollox
Where don't we?

2 keepers.

1 left back

2/3 right backs

3 centre backs (green has played there as cover aswell)

4 central midfielders

4 players who can play wide.

2 in number 10

4 strikers including the ones out on loan.

So tell me where we are not covered besides centre back and left back?

If our entire first 11 got injured and then the 11 that replaced them go injured we would then need another 11 to replace them plus 5 subs. Even if we had 38 players (we don't we have 24 + two shortly to expire loans) the quality of the starting 11 would be very sub standard. How do you think a starting 11 with McDonough, Tear, Allen and (untested at this level) Cooke would fare.

Dig up, not down sunshine.

Your writing off players who haven't played games for us. We haven't seen Tear. Mcdonagh not seen enough of him. Seen nothing of Stenson. Cooke is a prospect for next season but given he's following a similar route to Spence who is now a revelation in the middle of the pitch how can we question it. Would they be as good as the first 11 who knows.

As for the loans I'm of the opinion these will be extended. In Newby's case I think he'll become permanent. Stockport have no requirement for him he fits in well here.

How can you possibly judge players you have barely seen play. Sunshine

I'm not writing them off. Allen is hot and cold, Cooke and Tear have not played at this level and from what we've seen of McDonagh so far he is a useful sub to have but a regular starter? So you can't say that we can afford a raft of injuries without knowing how those untested would fare and still claim we would keep up with the current pack at the top. You actually started off by making a valid point. We can afford a few injuries and with those waiting in the wings we could probably absorb the impact.

However, for teams to maintain form they need a core of 8 or 9 that are on the team sheet week in week out. The utter bollox in your post was to then state we could suffer injuries to pretty much our first team squad (twice over mind) and not suffer.

The loans may or may not be extended/signed but it's subjunctive.

I don’t know what on earth you mean, Gerry McDonough will lead us to the title!

We have next to no quality depth, same as most at this level, Waters, Senior, Warburton or Green get injured and we’re fooked.

I keep telling myself that Boreham will drop off cos they don’t have the resources/depths but they keep plugging away. Still think it’ll happen eventually.

They don't have depth, but they have the resources to bring in replacements when they get injuries, which they've done already. They will finish top 3.

IMO all names should have absolutely no link to the club they support. Such as SuperHans or EnglishRed.

No link? Red? I suppose I could be a communist.

I agree though ambiguous names are the best. I like it when someone new posts talking about 'us' and I have no clue who they support. It's like a puzzle.
