An opposition player has been suspended for six matches - after spitting at an Ebbsfleet player last month.

AFC Fylde's Matty Kosylo has been given a six-game ban by the FA and fined £1,000 after spitting at Fleet's John Goddard.

FUN FACT: Yeovil Town have now won as many matches by the end of September, as they did during the whole of the 2018-19 season.

We've received the horrendous news that Martin 'Badger' Baker, founder of the Ciderspace website, was found dead this afternoon.

This has stunned me and the whole of the Yeovil Town community. Badger worked tirelessly on behalf of the fans and put in thousands of hours of work to ensure we had just about the best unofficial club website out there. Everyone knew and liked him and his knowledge of the club was second to none. His contribution cannot be undestimated but apart from anything he was a bloody good guy. This has left a massive hole which cannot be filled and quite honestly it's knocked me for six. I'm still reeling.

Playing random people drawn from the crowd before each game is better than playing Massanka. Carries more of a goal threat anyway.
