The Wrexham one is pretty fair too...
We aren't champion material but we should be well in the mix for the playoffs come May.

A couple of significant moves for the Stones these past few days. Todd Johnson, a US businessman and part of the ownership team at MLS side Minnesota United has joined our board of directors. Also, Manoj Badale, owner of IPL side Rajasthan Royals and founder of venture capital firm Blenheim Chalcot has made an investment into the club.

Interesting moves on the off the field operation indeed.

Alty;s Dean Furman has been moonlighting as a co-commentator during the AFCON. Comes across as quite a smart and perceptive guy. Has he played much for Alty this season?

They released him the other week. Didn't seem to play much.

He’s had a weird few months. Wrexham fans were salivating at the prospect of getting Furman in the summer, now he’s been released by Altrincham and is resorting to commentating on Comoros vs Mauritania.

He genuinely looked good in preseason. But then again we were mostly playing teams like Taworth

My mate who's an Alty fan reckons he has other ventures business wise and has been getting into commentary in general. So with him being South African, he's been a commentator on a few AFCON games apparently. My mate thought that is why he signed at Alty because they're still mostly part time. He also reckoned some of his ventures are over in South Africa so he may end up going back over there.

He never really got into their team even when there though. Not sure he was ever properly committed but that's just a hunch more than a fact.

Funnily enough a stadium in town would help them
Yeah, it's a bit of a pain to get to. I walked it from the train station and had hardly any time to get back. Their pitch is absolutely fantastic this season though, shame for them to lose that.

We actually went on strike from the time of the incident as it was 0-0 at the time!
It's amazing how many teams have been going out on strike when playing us recently, long may it continue ;)
