So we're starting the season with only one goalkeeper - Waddock waiting for the loans to drip down which is a huge risk. What are the odds on Cole either pulling up in the warm up or a Barnet player leaving one on him early on?

Dave Winfield (suspended) and Kenny Clark (injured) are huge misses for us. Both were instrumental last season in getting us to where we was.

Apart from the last 10 minutes, a decent half to watch. Salford’s issue is that the supply to Rooney and Gaffney has not been very good and that Lloyd will always cut inside from the right on his left foot. There’s been no right-footed cross from their right flank at all.
The Os have got more and more into this match and Boone and Alabi have the makings of an effective partnership up front. I quite fancy the Os to snatch this now as they look cohesive.
