Stockport County.
Ardley is surely going to accidentally on purpose walk over to the wrong dugout, "realise" and end up embracing Burchnall with an ear to ear grin to "apologise", commentators chuckling to themselves and then gives the stand behind the dugouts a massive clap as he's walking back across to the away dugout. Kidology at it's finest. That would be Solihull Moors 1-0 up for me.

At Edgeley Park, Bromley will win 1-0 from a set piece to burst the Challinor positivity balloon. I'll come out of the ground muttering that Andy "Andy" Woodman is a Mr Potato Headed bastard, deep down knowing he comes across a really nice guy who is just trying and succeeding in winning football matches.

Good effort. Has to be said, there’s a better feeling around the club than I can remember for while. The home crowds so far even at normal prices have been great for us.

Just goes to show, it doesn’t matter what league you’re in if it *feels* like you’re heading in the right direction.
Exactly the same for us - we are averaging 5-5500 at home at the minute and that’s without any half decent away following. I imagine notts, Wrexham and Grimsby at home will all be 9,000+. It’s not that long since we were seeing 4-4500 crowds in league 2.

Fans getting behind our new board is one thing but I do think covid has had an effect - people want to actually get off their arse and do something with their day after being locked up.

In a word, my feeling towards this game is ‘uncomfortable’

Still no sign of a striker either which is absolutely criminal

Another one to file in the 'expecting to win' category but with our lack of players who knows what kind of side we might raise.

Will go for an optimistic 3-1 win and another 5k+ crowd.

The form he's in, Tshimanga could probably do it on his own against our lumbering cbs. A comfortable win for you in the end, but it won't be for lack of effort on our part - it's the skill part of it where we come unstuck.

We’re heading for 11 home defeats in a row - don’t think this one will be as bad as Tuesday night but thinking 0-3.
The good news is I got Grimsby at 5/4 on Tuesday night, which’ll pay for my ticket on Saturday.

Not entirely sure -- But I think it could be us that holds that record. I remember we had over 11 thousand for the Alfreton game . Mind you we did'nt reduce any ticket prices.
It was. Hopefully we’ll break it later in the season with full prices as well.

Be great when Kleanthous fooks off and you fold, you are just his plaything. You’re not even the biggest team at the HI’ve.

And no one is worried about you having Brennan. He didn’t want the job at the begin of the season because you had 7 tough fixtures, once they are out the way.

Anyone know what the record in the regional National Leagues is, and who holds it?

Yeah, it's US! 7920, The Shay, Northern Play Off Final 2017. THAT is the UNQUALIFIED, OFFICIAL record for any game in the regional National Leagues. Eat your heart out Stockport. :bdick:

Maidenhead away, could be a high scoring affair with both teams unable to defend. News this morning that Josh Walker is now out for quite some time hence why we signed Morais, always going to happen with Walker wasn’t it at least we got two months out of him. We have a 23 man squad currently 3 out on loan, 6 injured and 1 suspended.

I think it will be 3-2 Maidenhead.

If we lose tomorrow, you lot are getting the blame for slapping 5 past them on Tuesday

We weren't even particularly good by all accounts, so you should be fine. They seem to like knocking it about across the defence right in front of their goal before passing it to the opposition Its a bold tactic.

Weymouth at home, absolute banana skin that. We’ve been very good at home all season, performance wise as well as results, but with the current stretched squad it’s yet to be seen whether we can maintain that level…

Predicted XI:

Loach
King - Kerr - New CB?? - Croll - Whittle
Oyeleke - Khan - Weston
Tshimanga - Payne

2-0 win, but will be a difficult game

I wouldn't want to see Grimes pushed out, he deserves to be playing ahead of Croll, he's only had one bad game so far vs Woking and Croll's only just stepped in the door. Plus we don't know if it is a CB we're signing. Apart from that I probably agree with the team, maybe Kellerman for Weston if Curtis isn't ready to start yet.

Amusingly, I've got free tickets for this game because Nathan Tyson belted a shot which hit my 4 year old lad on the side of his head in pre-season so I'm bringing the fam. He also gave him a signed shirt signed by the squad, which was nice of him. Top bloke.

Was on his weaker right peg. It was at Matlock and as I was walking behind the goal I had the thought of 'ooo God it'd be bad if a shot hit my child' and then it happened about 3 seconds later. He was class about it all though. Thinking of holding my sprog up behind the goal when the strikers warm up and going for a free half season ticket next.

Hopefully we turn up and take advantage though. Safe trip if you're coming up, i'm looking forward to the return leg already

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )

Yep, very fair analysis of our tactics. Wrexham were a good “football “ team, nice pass and move, no up-and -under stuff. With a couple of hot strikers could have been even more embarrassing.
I think Grimsby play a wide game with decent wing play, and if so, getting behind our CBs will cause havoc.
I would like to think there would be a dressing room reaction to Tuesday. There was no lack of effort and application, but, frankly , we are just not good enough. 1-4 Grimsby, would love to see a Shots goal.

I think tomorrow will give as a sign if any progress is being made with the new structure and coaching personnel.

Both our loanees are able to play, although Lopata will be assessed for fitness after travelling back from Poland U20 duty.

After two tough away games at Boreham Wood and Dagenham in the league then the win over Dover and the FA CUp game away at Chesterfield, we have Woking at home. Sitting bang in the middle of the division in 12th, if we have learnt anything since Browns reign and developed at all any form of result tomorrow would be a tangible sign of that. .......Here's hoping.

Not really any reason for Tony K to walk out on us, considering he’s been our chairman for over 25 years.

He’s going tomorrow apparently. First time an oppo chairman is pretty much despised by both sets of fans.
