How many should we expect from Stockport on Saturday then?
??? What difference could it possibly make to you? Besides, if you knew anything at all about this fixture you'd already know Stockport will bring at least a thousand. :ds:

Is he going to play more than half a dozen games this season?

Touch wood, but he looks fine. Gets kicked to pieces every game as well. They reckon he had an underlying issue that was causing it all, finally found a specialist who diagnosed it properly, had an operation and has been sound since.

Equal worry is him getting sold in January, though. Hope we can say to him see out the season and we’ll sell him next summer, but he’s at least two leagues below where he should be.

Well, well, well. It’s almost like we sold out due to being a good football team now.

Got to be worrying for Wrexham, can’t blame a transfer window when you’ve been lobbing money about. The fact is money doesn’t buy you grit and determination, it buys you mercenaries and when Deadpool has Shaun Harvey’s mates advising him, it’s not guaranteed to end all that well.

I've said my piece on here about how underwhelmed I am about us but if you look at ours and Wrexham's fixtures, we've had a far harder start than Chesterfield, Notts etc.

Sounds like we've been gifted it tonight really. We were 1 up before the 10 men and 2 up before the 9 men but never really a realistic platform for Maidenhead to get into it.

Going to be a long season this. See a couple of Covid cards got placed. My Alty mate was telling me Saturday night they were down to 0 established centre halves through injury. Coincedence? Me being a cynic? Never

Only way to look at our league is PPG IMO. https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/national-league/league-table/ppm

Double post! But well done Grimsby! What happened to the sell out however?
A home sell out should’ve equated to 7000 ish so it’s a lot of season ticket holders (or ticket holders) to not turn up

Headlines go to Tshimanga tonight, but Stefan Payne was the real star of the show. Absolute non stop from minute 1-90 and really deserved a goal to cap off his performance. Jeff King also very good today.

Barnet were so open, literally 0 defensive structure, but attacking wise they seem to have a few handy players. When you defend the way they do tho you’ll lose more than you win no matter how decent your attackers are!

6 games unbeaten, but got a tough one at Yeovil this weekend who have started very well

It's a long season this.

Got Notts and Grimsby fans giving Wrexham their turn for the slating, it was only the other week I watched Wrexham give Notts County a bit of a chasing, Notts parked the bus and got lucky with a draw. Only one team looked watchable.

I can only speak for us, I've not liked what I've seen and I'd change manager personally but we've really not had a Dover, Wealdstone, Weymouth, Aldershot, Barnet (no disrespect to them sides) yet at all.

Once the Wrexham team gel they will be a top side in non-league, but if they play as individuals and not as a team it'll take a lot longer and most likely too late to push for promotion this season. Our bunch showed them teamwork betters star studded journeymen with bulging pockets.

Exactly. Besides, Its six games in I think people need to calm down.

Personally I'm not worried, we will improve.

That said weve got two more difficult games up next. We don't seem to be playing the Barnets and Kings Lynns this year.

Me realising we’ve played 4 of those 5 sides…

Really pleased to see Payne had a good game. Just looks a much better fit as a partner to Kabby to me.

No doubt Stockport the better team and deserved their win.
We were shite but totally reffed out of it.
Goalie clearly fouled for your second and 2 weird sending offs.
Collar got our man sent off by collapsing like a big girls blouse.

Was the Wrexham goal another free-flowing team goal?

Despite us gifting Southend the most ridiculous of goals they still managed to lose to us.

Thought after they gave us one back we were very good and scored a couple of great goals, before they fluked a consolation late on.

Very low away attendance by our standards but good to have some points on the board at last

To be fair, we don’t know who is good and bad yet really. I would be surprised if at least one of those middle three teams didn’t finish above Southend, for instance.

Dubious Wrexham recruitment but tbf their fixture list has been a bastard. Rowe and Burchnall must have slipped the fixture guy a few notes to keep it easyish while we find our feet.

Another tough one Saturday…Maidenhead at home with two of their lads suspended, guaranteed 4-4.

We’re having far too many 3-2s, definitely time to throw in a 4-3 soon.

Barnet aren't great. We could have won 83-2.

Ref was also a cockwomble, but thats normal in this league.

90 minutes of dross from Maidenhead. I couldn't see the first sending off from where I was standing, I think an elbow or stamp was alleged.

Second our keeper was sent off for taking out our last man.

We'd probably have lost anyway as our only method of attack is overhit long balls and we have no midfield. This will be a long tough season, our summer signings look dire, Emile Acquah apart. Kane Ferdinand on a two year deal looks an absolutely awful bit of business.
