Christ, it worked!

Heard a rumour that Ryan Reynolds will be on commentary for our game at Wealdstone. Stay tuned for that inevitable postponement.

A lot of our fans seem to think the wind is going to damage roots hall to such an effect that this game is in serious doubt but that won’t happen. We win again.

I missed this. I think I was posting at the same time though. I also missed Grimsby my bad. Who do Southend think they are playing on a Friday night.

I'm going for a postponed in our game and heading to Notts under pressure.

And having played 3 more away games than home games. We might catch up eventually

It's okay, I think I've posted 4 match threads and every single time someone else has done it the simultaneously.

It's our turn to have a blank weekend - given how badly Altrincham have been recently I imagine we'll only be 6 clear of the drop zone by the time we kick off on Tuesday

I was at the ground yesterday and it was fine, but with a red weather warning now including London and heavy rain forecast, I have my doubts. We have section of the ground that gets wet, affectionately called Dead Fox Corner , as all of the water for the site ends up there. RR in our main stand doing commentary would be very funny. Hope he does earthy. That’s before you factor in the Lego stand at your end.

The first away game I've been able to go to since before Christmas due to work commitments, I'd put a large sum on it being called off

Not sure about our new insect overlords here.

Might reveal my prediction for Chesterfield v Motors exclusively over on the new sanctuary.

Yeah fuck 'em. I still can't post on my work computer, but it's not even about that for me. This lot have a reputation for killing forums/online communities. The admins/mods over on the other place are actually active and have the best interest of their forum at heart.

Slightly annoyed we bent over to Southends request to have some West Ham fans show up for tonight. Game now looks in serious doubt and the weather ironically looks much better tomorrow

Just hoping that the "flat track bullies" can continue their decent run and that the scourge of the top teams can do their stuff against Boreham Wood. Oh and that Solihull can get a point or 3 against Chesterfield (don't forget though the ball needs to actually nestle in the back of the net before the ref will give you a goal).

Our game is still on at the moment and if, like the great storm of '87, when we had a game that night too, which went ahead. If it dies down, as it is forecast to from 3pm onwards and there is no stadium damage, it should go ahead as scheduled.

The people most affected will be the number of Blues fans that attend, but are based south of the Thames, as the Bridge is closed, so presumably, one of the tunnels might be switched to southbound traffic, so it could be a diversion through Blackwall or Rotherhithe tunnels instead.

Latest weather from the Met office APP:
(first number windspeed - second number gust speed)

1200: 37 - 65
1300: 38 - 67
1400: 33 - 59
1500: 31 - 56
1600: 28 - 51
1700: 27 - 49
1800: 28 - 50
1900: 25 - 46
2000: 24 - 42
2100: 23 - 41
2200: 22 - 39

There have been no messages from the club that the game is in doubt and as I said above, unless there is damage to the stadium between now and 3pm when the winds are at their strongest, I would expect the game to go ahead as scheduled, but club website, Club Twitter account and Shrimperzone would be the best sources of information should there be any developments to the contrary.

Solihull Borough HAVE to be favourites for tomorrow’s game now given Chesterfield’s latest injury blows. Even Cooky’s infectious personality will struggle to overcome the loss of Tshimanga, Oyeleke and Croll.

Dare I say… beleaguered Chesterfield?

West Ham fans in their thousands turning up at Roots Hall for the Grimsby

The game will go ahead IMO. Worst of it should be over by 3 as long as there is no structural damage the game will be on like how the ref is turning up for a pitch inspection like the wind might have blown all the grass away.

Same here if the other one stays active on the non league forum then I’m not gonna bother with this one anymore but I suspect now this one is up and running again people will slowly start fucking the other one off.
Hope not though.

May I proudly be the first to say our game tomorrow has already been postponed. The early ness of that makes me concerned about next weekend already aswell. Our pitch is screwed.

Maybe Dover had something to do with it! ;)
Just want to attend a league game at home on a saturday. It's getting ridiculous now. This is an active football season and we've played at home once in the league on a Saturday since October.

No point going over there if they're not going to let people post.

This place only went down for like 24 hours.

Needs an admin to verify you, they seem to be quite quick at it.

Just going to end up with a split and the whole community of this section is going to suffer.

I might aswell stay on here for the next few months because the League Two forum on this forum is far, far busier.

I'll probably float between both. This site does go down a lot.

Who knows if any games will be on. Ours may be, may be not, may as well end the season now anyway.
