Second game in a row we've paid the price for starting far too slowly and conceding goals from cheaply conceded corners.

The annoying this is, we created at least 5 very good chances today to get something from the game and to give ourselves a chance but somehow missed all of them - Nathan Ashmore was voted man of the match by the home fans, he had an excellent game, caught and saved literally everything.

Ebbsfleet defended well, but I couldn't help but think had we got one we'd have got something from the game after their last game against Chesterfield.

The biggest crime of the day was no programmes on sale, due to a printing error from the printers :dis:

Our next 4 league games are against Maidstone, Hartlepool, Maidenhead and Havant - If we don't pick up at least 3 wins from those 4 games then we won't win the league.

My guess is Ashmore was only voted MOTM due to recent situations. He made one top class save, we defended pretty well other than that.

4 games without a win against us now, can we play you every week? ;)

Believe it or not, the fact I don't have a match programme from the game today has pissed me off more than the actual result - I ain't lying either!! :)

Our programme is one of the best at this level too.

Onto the game... we did well. Fancy us to make the play offs.

We are never going to get out of this league. Not upwards anyway. We looked a decent team at the start of the season I don't know what has happened.

And Solihull are going to win the league. Grace League 2 with their ground made up of a ramshackle collection of hen coops and bus shelters.

What an absolute shambles our club is right now. Fair play to Chesterfield, their easiest win of the season today (maybe bar the time they beat us 3-0 earlier in the season) - had to be Will Evans though didn’t it? I think Chesterfield will be alright, new manager should steer you clear.
As for us, we’ve got one foot in the South already.

Solihull were pretty lucky to win today. I think Maidenhead are starting to show that we have enough to stay up but we still lack quality at centre mid and that let us down again today, too many stray passes. Also Solihull are effective from set pieces, while we're useless.

Also - controversial view - but Maidstone and Aldershot are so terrible that I can see Braintree still being in the race for survival longer than some might think.

Agreed. I think our game vs Maidstone on the last day of the season will be a battle for 23rd. I genuinely cannot see where our next win is going to come from.

Put a fork in us we're done.

Bring on the National South and being able to drink why watching the game.

An absolute must to compensate for some of the truly awful football played down here. That would also be topped off by the quite real possibility of the Met Plod getting promoted too.

What a depressing thought that is.

If you lot keep your keys players fit you'll be top 6 IMO. Your home record is very strong.

You have the fire power to keep the pace.

I think we lost 6 of our first 8 at home under McMahon. The only home game we've lost under Hill was against Daggers in the Trophy.

We've got the squad to make the play offs there's no doubt about it, it's just staying away from injuries as you say. We've only got 17 on the books.

Got a lot of big home games left, really fancy us to finish strong.

Dover athletic
Inept refereeing , and blatant cheating from Bromley. The rumpus started at a corner, when due to the Referee not dealing with the Bromley player having his arm around Jamie Allen's neck , twice he called them over, but did nothing more, Wood then kicked out at a Dover player who reacted Wood then hides behind the goal, referee clueless who speaks to lino and red cards Gomis still not knowing what to do , he walks over to the fourth official, then red cards Lotto, Absolutely clueless again, Bromley players own up to the referee after the game telling him Lokko did nothing to deserve a red I was told after the game that the red has been recinded, although I didn't think that could happen until Monday .Really hope Wood gets a retrospect red, as for the game Bromley actually played OK and were edging the game, but messed it up with all that play acting
and falling over antics , surely they are better than that? , maybe if the played football, they may have taken all three points After the double reds Dover stepped up and some fantastic defending for the last 30 mins made Bromley look second best, as they could breakdown Dover 9 man defence ..............................

Does this recent Ebbsfleet run show McMahon up for being overrated? He never really convinced me truth be told.

First post here hoping for a warm welcome!

was a tough game for us against Gateshead who battled all match but I still think we're doing great and challenging for the top spot against all odds

up the Ammies!

1. Fuck off.
2. “Challenging for the top spot against all odds”? I agree. No way you should be ‘challenging’ for the title. You should be 15 points clear with the disgusting financial doping going on.
3. Fuck off again.

Oh dear another naysayer. There are at least 4 clubs bigger than salford here so for the crowds we get and the progress we've made as a club gradually building season on season i would've taken top half! All credit to the manager and owners, yes he's had a bit of backing but nothing to get frothy at the mouth with.

If you're a genuine Salford fan, you've either picked a team to support in the last few years because they're winning games, or you've supported a club through a colour change and badge change, basically losing your identity. Which is it?

That's assuming you are actually a Salford fan, and not the WUM I believe you to be.

I wouldn't say overrated as such, I think he was just a little out of his depth in the end. I think he jumped into a job like that too soon. He'll do well eventually, but it was too much too soon, IMO. Let his emotions get the better of him all too often.

Aaaaaand it’s a WUM. Bit early to out yourself, but I suppose your first mistake was claiming to be a Salford fan.

Probably going to back up what others have said about yesterday. Thought we deserved the points, and was one of our better performances I’ve seen. We actually looked like we knew what we were doing, if only being solid but not spectacular. Hopefully the first of many under Shez

The ammies died when the Class of 92 decided to remove every trace of the old club, Kit, ground badge ground - the lot. You do know that the Ammies name came from the amber and black kit they played in. The kit that Neville et al knew wouldn't work with the disgruntled ManUre fans they hoped to attract.

And i'm with others on here in saying that any club that can pay individual players per month what other clubs are spending on their squad in a week. You are not battling against odds at all. Hilarious (and predictable) that its the Fylde fan that is taking your corner. You'll form a kinship there for sure.
