We must have forgotten the 'improve' bit with Alabi. Is he still on our books?

Add in Waring, Rokka, Green. Sensible thing would have been to take one gamble and bring in 2 more senior pros.

We have been very lucky that Eddie Clarke has emerged as an outstanding left back as Liam Ridehalgh has had a poor season to date.

I don’t mind one or two promising youngsters being brought in, but Alabi, Waring and especially McEveley have been poor signings. While Ridehalgh not perhaps at the levels he reached last season, I’d say it’s more a case of Clarke being good rather than him being poor.
