Maidenhead game re-scheduled for 2 weeks time, 7th December, which will give them time to get a few players back from injury no doubt. Hopefully we will get Ralph fit by then and with the announcement today, may have an odd new face or two. So that little ploy, might have backfired on Devonshire, you never know.

It's a cold one in North East Hampshire tonight - need another gritty performance to build on the win against Grimsby

Can anyone who’s played Altrincham at any point this season clarify if they’ve got a pulse??

Obviously because we’re playing them that must mean they haven’t but I thought I’d ask the question just in case, see if there’s any particular players we should be worried about?

I know I’ve always rated Kosylo for them, and that Hancock always seemed a handy player. Hopefully Dinanga plays… (incoming dinanga hattrick)
We absolutely battered them before we went down to 10 men and they got going and looked good. Not sure if we were brilliant that night or if they were toothless

Two poor sides on show tonight at Aldershot. We are pants most games so will take a draw. Was going but saving my money

Reckon they’re a classic ‘should beat at home, tricky away’ side probably. Colclough is good, as everyone has said.

They're a powder puff little team. Anyone serious about promotion won't much be troubled by them. :ds:

Strong looking team from us actually. Bell in to replace the ineffective Giles Coke and presumably pushing him up the pitch, Fox back in his best position. It’s a McAtee away from our strongest XI imo

Three ex-Shrimpers in the Maidenhead team, two who came through the youth ranks in Acquah and Ferdinand. I'm expecting Sam Barratt (who I thought at the time was a massive mistake to let go) will tear us a new one. Pretty sure Alan Devonshire is still living round Southend somewhere or certainly still got his house there, so all in all this game is a nailed on Maidenhead win. If we were decent it'd be one of those smash and grab 0-1 but we're really not, we've not even reached bad yet, so I'll go 1-3.
Have you seen our recent results?

You must be pants if you think you will only score 1??

Absolute jokers. They obviously want a full strength team when they play relegation rivals. National league need to get a grip.
Do you really think Maidenhead are that powerful to manage to get games called off without reason????

We've named only 4 subs due to our injury crisis.

Well... we have only named 4 subs. And have no right back as Jeff King joins the injury list.

I'm hearing some horrid rumours in the pub tonight that apparently Kabbys release clause is 375k and Wigan are basically waiting for the window to open to move. That would be horrid. It would make sense that we got him though if 375k release was the incentive

That's still a decent amount for this level.
Though it's probably all rumours...I mean, most of the summer there were people on Red Passion saying we were going to sign Paul Mullin......pfffttt

Hopefully leading to more dosh for Boreham Wood to incite a few more entitled key- board experts. Love it.

Alty setting up for 0-0 by the looks of our starting XI.

Reckon we could get 0 here, though it would be pretty funny if Marcus Dinanga scores us a winner

You'd be making a loss on him.
