Is Hartlepool's finishing always this bad? They should be 3-4 goals up here

He's over rated at average I'd say. I guess we've only got a small sample size but right now I haven't seen much he does well! Denton and as said above Whelan feel like big misses right now. I hope Rowe doesn't put this down to a referee decision for the 1st goal or a one off thing, we created fuck all and looked toothless it's need addressing

Yes, that's why I'm shitting it. Pass - Pass - Pass, great ball in, miss. It's all we ever do.

Comedy miss of the season! The radio commentators getting overexcited makes it even funnier.

Armstrong's touch takes the ball backwards from a yard out. Jeez this Pools finishing is something else.

He has done - just read his post-match in the DT, claiming we had more attacks than County in the first part of the second half.

On Yussuf - I say bang average because we haven't seen an awful lot - but I don't think he has done anything half decent as of yet. He doesn't seem fast, particularly strong or skillful? Struggling to see what he brings - hope he proves me wrong.

We are desperately missing Whelan, Rowley and Denton.

Wow, that's quite a piece of skill there to back heel the ball away from the line, out of the very mouth of gaping goal.... can he play on Tuesday please :fl:

Are you guys still not training or??

Unfortunately we’ve been training the entire time. Individual errors can be cited for goals 1, 3 and 4 but the 2nd goal is a corner played on the ground to Luke Young on the edge of the box with not one person picking him up - that’s on the coaching staff.

Thank fuck for that.

That was just us in a nutshell, some really good football but outside of Armstrong no one has a finish on them.

Thought Barnet weren't that bad. Actually thought they were better than Wrexham the other night but we always make hard work of these games.

Yes he's not great. Lazy. A decent enough goal scorer but no better than someone like Boden really.

We wouldn't have signed him at the end of the season, and he's got that assurance from you lot so well played Adi Yussuf.

Far from a classic performance from us, like you say we create chances galore but don't even test the keeper with most of our attempts.

Just happy with the three points, the Dark Arts Warlock was always going to make this a tough fixture, just glad we got through it without a Keystone Cops error at the back, it was the only way Barnet gonna score tonight.

"Lazy" - that'll be a problem given Rowe wants his team to play a high press and not give defenders a minute to think.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but I can't see what he gives us over Dinanga, Rawson or even Boden as you say.

I'd be inclined to say that given its a loan with an option to sign permanently at the end of the season, if he doesn't pull up any trees we won't be exercising that option...

Well, after the customary Alty mid-season shit-hot streak, now a run of 5 straight defeats.

I guess it had to come, what with the continuing absence of a striker worthy of the description. Still, the whole season is essentially a simulation (much like life itself), so why worry?

It depends whose option it is to exercise! Maybe given time his relationship with Asante will improve his performances. He's certainly not a bad player.

And tbh I expect most people would prefer Barnet in this league than Flyde and their 2 year plan.
Well of course they would. They’ve conceded 53 goals. They’re going to go down as the worst side that’s ever played in the national league. They should relegate any side that doesn’t beat Barnet.

We’re history makers. Written in stone.
