I'm sorry, when you said he celebrated as though we'd won 3-0 and secured the title, I was looking for someone running like a loon onto the pitch with both arms raised in the air and throwing himself into our goalkeeper's arms, ala Bob Stokoe, rather than a muted and barely perceptible shrug towards his bench. The meaning you've imbued that tiny gesture with is laughable, and whiffs of desperation frankly.
