A tricky trip to Dover who've won 5 in a row at home and have picked up since Hess took charge.

Probably a good time to play us, we've got a few bumps and bruises.

We paid the price on Boxing Day for not being clinical enough in the final third as well as some shoddy defending - Two things that this season we've been quite good at.

Not a huge fan of the Crabble and its slopy pitch, we struggled there twice last season - despite winning one game 4-3.

Hess will know all about a few of our talented younger players - He was part of the management team who gave a few of them their debuts, just over 2 years ago now.

Unsure what to think of our game, Salford could be a wounded animal following the Wrexham defeat however we are in good form ourselves and confidence is high despite not getting what we deserved against Fylde.

I'd imagine Salford and their owners will be getting a lot of arse kissing on BT Sport so it would be nice to shove one up them.

Head says 1-1.

Hartlepool at home for the national league north massive promotion challengers, breaking with tradition I might boo them onto the pitch instead of waiting for the final whistle.

Was feeling confident in getting a win before they binned off Allen not so sure now, we have 1 win in our last 10 games and are very slowly dropping into the lower half of the table, really gotta be looking at winning this.

Sutton away. We always lose at Sutton. 4-0.

I’m traveling over for this one. I haven’t seen us win in person since we beat Leyton Orient back in September. But in saying that our record v Aldershot at home is rather good

Dagenham away.... Wasn't going until the wonderful news that Still has retired.

Same players, probably nothing will change and we will lose.

But at least T Rex isn't in the dug out.

I think the game against Solihull will be a lot tougher than the last one, but it will certainly be just as important. It will be a great chance to put some distance between ourselves and the teams out of the top three, especially with the other games on today.

Solihull's forwards aren't as good as Salford on paper, but they should offer more than Rooney and co.

Pitch is looking in good condition though, we're all ready for the big game.

Got to keep it on the deck today, if not we'll eventually get bulldozed aside like we did in the away game in August.
Ideally would keep the same side as Boxing Day, and hopefully Tollitt comes on towards the end against tired legs and nicks the winner, 1-0.

HAHAHA. They should have finished with about 7 players against us too.

Quite a few Dover players out injured.
Don’t expect us to hold Orient’s forwards, so expect an away win today

Maybe, with Dayton and McAnuff out I'm not as confident as I would be. Koroma out wide isn't a great look, he's much better in a central position.

That was madness in the last 15 mins. Salford took all the pace out of the game in the second half, but were always going to punish our missed chances. We do that most games, it seems.

Agustien had a great game and his number was up on the board before he smashed in his goal.

What a dirty team Salford are though, ey?

2-1 up at halftime. Two early goals for the U’s, but since Shots pulled a goal back it’s been more even.

Apparently some Aldershot fans tried leaving at 2-0. Our 2nd was scored in the 6th minute

We just can't get going yet, fecking awful side to play against. Every time we do something one of their players goes down with nothing wrong with him. Can't get any momentum going. We've dealt with their lineouts quite well though.

Still not sure why Koroma and Bonne partnership has been split up. If we're playing with another wide man apart from Dayton I'd much rather see a centre mid (Alex Lawless I guess) or a mobileish striker (James Alabi) playing there than spliting up something that's proven to be effective.
