Unbelievable effort to get a point after playing 85 mins with 10 men as others have said...

Absolutely ran themselves into the ground to grind out that point today. George Carline and Asante different gravy for me today..

I didn’t actually get the stream working until 10 minutes into the game so missed the sending off... any daggers or spireites fans on here, was it a red? Or just another great example of the inadequate refereeing at this level?

It was a high foot, but he wasn't looking at the player, I don't think it was deliberate. In the context of the game, a telling off would of done. Or at the very least spoke to his assistant to see what he thought before getting the red out. He just instantly reacted with the red cars without giving himself time or getting other opinions. To send a player off after a few minutes just changes the entire context of the game, it's got to be absolutely stone wall. I thought he had a shocker all game long tbh

Loads of posession, very little created, goal was a bit of a fluke.
Seven points from nine, sounds good but we're not at all convincing.
Weymouth were a bit unlucky to get nothing.

Hard to know where to put this but Dave Anderson has tweeted that he's heard NLN & NLS will be stopped and there will be no relegation this season from National league,

Emojis aside, his tweet makes little sense regardless and I don't think he's particularly well informed either. I'll wait for an actual club chairman or Ollie Bayliss or Dan Roan to come out with something concrete.

Rewinded the stream, you can understand why the ref has given it as the studs went right into his chest, silly tackle certainly an accident but dangerous play little option for a ref in the laws of the game.

We are poor and only a worldie strike got us out of jail. Not sure where we go from here. Very impressed with Chesterfield, can see a play off place for them when the part time teams like Maidenhead and Altrincham most likely fall away.

Thats a shame, but similar to what happened to Luke here. Brilliant for 6 months, then got injured, was out for a while and then wasn't the same player for ages after that.

This is the reason we didn't keep him, on his day hes great.
3rd such injury this season. Stenson. Summerfield out with it.
Allen has been Injured. Hyde. These are not backup players. These are key first choice. It's almost not surprising anymore when someone else gets a long term injury.

After 85+ mins with 10 men you’d obviously be happy for a point. Shame the ref ruined it so early on and probably cost us 3 points as it altered the way would have played totally.

team dug in second half though which is great to see, we’re certainly improving. Couple of home games coming up now, if we can get 4 or 6 points we will be right in touch still.

An utterly pointless performance in every sense from us today.

We offered absolutely nothing for the entire 90 minutes and on that evidence, it really is difficult to see how we can win any more games, let alone enough to make up a huge gap to safety.

Our only hope seems to be the NLN/NLS being cancelled meaning no relegation. As shameful a way to survive as that would be, I would certainly take that now!

What an awful game tonight was. Us and Bromley were as poor as each other, neither team deserved to win that. We kept the ball nicely in the middle of the park, but when you can’t defend and you can’t score goals, you won’t win games. Another season of lower middle-table nothingness, won’t get anywhere near the play offs on that showing but should pick up enough points to stay up. Such a disappointment.

We’ll stay up but only because there are three teams measurably more shite than us, but even one of those beat us last Tuesday and another will beat us this one coming.

Nonetheless you look far far better than us.

You haven’t seen us play, have you? We‘re an absolute mess of a team where getting a shot on target or putting 3 passes together is a major achievement. From today’s match, at least you have a coherent system of play, you play with some pace and movement and you carry a threat up front. We don’t have any of these qualities. You will score at least two goals against us and win by at least two goals unless something sorcerous happens at the Hive between now and Tuesday.

We weren't really at it today, missing Moxey as well as Wynter messed with our shape. 3 at the back didn't really work in the first half as our midfield all seemed to struggle to know their roles. Back to a back four at half time but this meant Randell out of position at right back which again made the midfield a lot less effective than usual.

But we didn't need to get out of third gear today really, Barnet give you so much time on the ball that it was almost a training exercise at times.

We've really tightened up at the back since the New Year, that's 4 clean sheets on the bounce after only 6 in the previous 20 games

Looks like the new manager bounce hasn’t happened and the signings Flowers has made aren’t much better than what Beadle had.

I expect TK will furlough those contracted players that are not wanted, just like Chesterfield. Not sure that is morally right but then this is football and morals are long gone.

I don’t need to see you play, we just don’t beat the teams we apparently should. Bromley hadn’t won at home since October and for the first 20 mins could see why. But we gift them a goal and then go headless chicken. It’s the same old story, The Aldershot Way. I see you are 3/1 on Skybet and will be having a large piece of that.

No, you don’t get it. We’re many many levels below Bromley. We’re unable to create a single clear cut chance in a match.
You have players with pace and movement so you will be able to cut us down the wings past our slow tactically unaware full-backs or through the middle past our slow pedestrian midfielders. You will create plenty of gilt-edged chances. Scott Loach will save quite a lot of them as he is a good goalkeeper, but you will score at least 2.
We’re not Chorley last season level bad which saw a team lacking quality but with plenty of commitment and organisation lose a lot of matches by a single goal. We’re something altogether a lot worse. Even Hyde Utd displayed some attacking verve in their dismal relegation season.

Indeed the case. Nothing more to add here. For all the issues affecting your team selection you described above, you were always a lot more comfortable on the ball like us.

I see King's Lynn are the latest club to make up a rivalry with us. Their owner has been going off at Wrexham fans on Twitter, very strange bloke.

I think it is Mr Cleeve personally who wants the rivalry, not King's Lynn Town FC (or their fans). SC has a knack of finding trouble and making enemies wherever he goes so try not to take it personally ;)

If you can't defend or score goals, then mid table is a bit optimistic, I think.

Some total football from County yesterday on a pudding of a pitch. 2nd goal especially good. Look forward to seeing them again on the highlights.

Woking have been somewhat a bogey team for us over the years. Nice to give them a bit of a pasting.

Up to 3rd now with 3 games in hand on Torquay. Win them all and we'll be within striking distance.

Much better second half from us, still neither keeper had a whole lot to do, a lot scuffed shots and hits well wide.

Very good three points though.
The most pleasing thing about the win, especially the last 20 minutes, was the Pools players going down, winning fouls to kill the game.
It was good & ironic to see their manager going nuts about it,seeing as they have turned into an art form.

He's a wrong 'un who wanted to fleece us and we saw through it, not much more to be said really. He's been banned as a director for years and reckons we are the unprofessional ones. Needs banning from the ground if they ever come to ours, just for being a creepy bastard if nothing else. Everyone should also cover their necks.

Don't you just hate that, when a Mickey Mouse outfit tries to pick a fight to create the illusion of a rivalry? We've had a bit of that from both HAHAHAHartlepool (didn't that used to be plural? What happened, they couldn't even get along among each other?) and Wrexham in recent times. It's boring but it seems to make them happy. :ds:
