It's strange how Barnet managed to get the FA Cup game on but then couldn't get their league game on the game before?

I wonder if, Dagenham for example, were in the cup this week whether they would have played knowing they'd be out if they had to P-P. Dagenham have reported some "have symptoms". That shouldn't call the game off IMO.

The kind of game we need to be getting three points from.

We’ve yet to go in at the break ahead so that’s the aim against Weymouth so they have to come out and leave gaps at the back in the second half.

It's been done to death but immediately before the Hartlepool game we didn't know who had the virus and who didn't.

Yeovil away. We desperately need a win tomorrow as do they. I'll go 3-3 draw.

I don't think we are as bad as our results suggest, losing narrowly by one goal 4 times and putting Woking to the sword. If we can shore up (a big IF) our defence, I think we will be fine.

It’s not even worth repetitively explaining stuff this point.

The rules have changed for the first round proper of the cup, you can’t be thrown out unless certain circumstances can be met. Our players are currently being tested to find out if we can continue to play games, tomorrow’s game we can’t play as the results won’t be back in time. With our injuries plus a few covid on top we wouldn’t have enough players anyway.

I'll give Barnet the benefit of the doubt on this one but there's no doubt that in the past they've proven themselves to be a very unsavoury, classless outfit. This is possibly why people have questioned them.

Speaking off dodgy pitches, who's going to be *that* team this season?

In previous seasons we've had Barnet, Braintree (just about every season tbf), Newport and Gateshead.

Pools/Torquay is the game of the day, good choice for the cameras.

Both sides in good form, we look like we'll do better away than at home, as per most seasons. teams will get better success sitting in on us rather than looking to attack as we'll pick them off so in that sense I think we'll get more results against the better teams with more attacking intent.

Fancy us to nick an open game 2-1.

We played our home game with Maidenhead two weeks ago despite announcing four positive results an hour before kick off, including our best player and both right backs, basically so we didn’t get kicked out the cup the following weekend.

Ended up losing 2-3, getting more cases, and having to pull out the cup anyway. So that went well.

We are improving every week as we get players back to fitness, not seen a better player at this level than Ben Whitfield in the last year or so and he's been released to play in his preferred position now we have some fit defenders. We will have to be better then our first half against the Shots to get anything here though.

Fast forward to 3 minutes of this for a reminder of both of our clubs glory days! ;)

Yes, you really should be beating lesser teams like Weymouth...

We are as bad as our results suggest. At least we now have 2 centre backs available after signing Morgan Williams from Cov on loan. 2-2 I reckon.

Williams goes straight into the starting XI after signing yesterday. Quigley leading the line and looking to continue his scoring form, Murphy on the bench.
