When we got bummed 6-0 at Stockport on a Tuesday night last September I was dreaming of being able to play Boreham Wood away again.

National League North is a graveyard of sides who should be doing better, and are fighting over signing bang average players. Unless you've got a lot of money you're fucked, and even if you have got a lot of money you're still probably fucked. Welcome to hell.
Battle to avoid a double drop, bring it on! :(

Think we managed it on the last day of the 05/06 season against Oxford. I forget what happened in the game itself.
I seem to remember a lot of ice cream ended up on the floor and a lot of kids were crying......

this is brilliant. The complete couldn't give a feck defending as the B-Wood defender lets Fondop-Talom jog past him, then goes to gesture with his arm after the goal as if to say "come on guys, what the hell you doing" :brill:
MFT's 2 goals have given us 4 extra points. Their manager thought he and Brown "were the 2 best players on the pitch, by a country mile". So much for the football wisdom of the fully badged FIFA coaches on our home forum.:fl:

Welcome to hell.

It's certainly that, as much for the appalling standard of the football on display, as anything. It was hard enough to get out of, the first time we were in there and Billy Heath saved our club from an uncertain future, when he got us back up in 1, last year. Hundreds of fans would have walked away if we'd got ourselves stuck down there. :bdick:

Pools were horrendous once again, what is it now, 10 home defeats this season. What an utter disgrace that is and they are lucky that there’s even as much as 2800 coming to watch them.

You’ve jogged my memory a bit there, but all I can remember is hearing someone called Eric moaning my name as if in the throes of ecstasy. Ah well, im sure it’ll come back to me.

You lucky, lucky bastards. Orient have lost 46 of our past 90 home league games, including a mere 18 last season.

Our record won’t be far off that. Could play top trumps here, name a tinpot side you’ve lost at home to and see if that can be out tinpotted. I’ll start with a Maidenhead.

We lost 2-1 at home to Welling (who finished bottom on 35pts) in one of the final games of our first season down here, a win would have seen us finish 3rd instead of 6th.

I'm sure we lost at home to Alfreton once.

Sounds familiar. We lost 1-0 at home to Nuneaton with the goal in the 91st minute. They finished bottom, we finished 6th and a point behind 5th (We also had drawn earlier at their place with their equaliser as almost the last kick after we missed a hatful of sitters).

Once? Three times

Good Friday 2011 - 1-0
FA Cup First Round November 2012 - 4-2
Boxing Day 2013 3-2 including a 95th minute winner from Chris Westwood. One of my most favourite Alfreton goals ever.

To be fair he has been absolutley shocking the last two or three games and even in the first half yesterday his 1st touch was akin to that of a Sherman Tank. Second half he ran the lazy B-Wood defence ragged but Ashley Stott could've achieved that against such lethargy. Would love MFT to become the player he has shown glimpses of. Certainly if he can find regular end product to his physicality and the workrate displayed yesterday he won't be with us for long.

There was a time (about 4 seasons ago) when losing to Accrington was a disaster, what we wouldn’t give to lose a league game against them next year..

I would choose Borient but you never win at ours anyway.

Apart from that time you let Ollie Palmer score two goals.

I have an A.F.C. Flied, I think. Glide? Flyed? Something.

Luton 1-2 Hyde in about their 5th season of “we’re going to piss this league” trumps anything on here.

Welling, that’s a pretty bad memory. Watching them Show Boating to victory at Prenton Park. We made them look like Barcelona!
