Disappointing result for us at Aldershot on Saturday, and I don't hold out much hope for a better one in the battle of the two pre-season faves at ML. We have to pray Callum Roberts is fit - currently looking half the team without him...

Yep, positive test in the Stockport camp. Probably not bad timing for us to be honest, gives Roberts more time to get fit and us a more straightforward chance of getting back to winning ways (although I have completely lost track when our next game is, or who the opponents are)

One positive case can easily become several more. Look at what happened to Notts. The virus is a sleeper, precaution is kind of the whole point.

The fixture logs are going to be immense for everybody. And the P-P's are pouring in. The seasons seems in doubt for me. There's no way it should be postponed if we've got one test positive.

Halifax next Tuesday apparently, I think this Saturday is when we were due to play Macc.

Tbh gives us another week to get Roberts, Rawlinson and McCrory fit, then I’d be minded to view it as starting the season again. We’re going to have many games in hand.

Where's that from? Only stuff I've seen is about 1 positive test so far.

We do know striker Richie Bennett was in close contact with someone who tested positive, hence why he sat out the Rochdale game. Another avenue is the game against Weymouth last week, I suppose.

Wednesday's Vanarama National League home match against Stockport County has been postponed due to several Covid-19 events being reported by our opponents, including a positive test result.

Well after the shambles at South Shields and several draws where we've wasted several chances it feels like a must-win game for us. Sounds like Hyde is finally up to full fitness so hopefully he's worth the hype. Looked rusty in a couple of sub appearances so far.

Well we've probably got it off Weymouth who we played the weekend before we played you again in the cup. Weymouth announced a load of cases and cancelled forthcoming games.

If you had to cancel games just because you've recently played a team that subsequently has a positive test, there wouldn't be much of a league left

As I say, only details we've been given is one positive test, with the rest of the squad to receive results today or tomorrow. Either someone on your end has been told summat that's been kept from the rest of us, or they've misconstrued what they were told

Is Jeff King any good? I remember him in our reserves a few years ago, nephew of Alty legend John King. I just assumed he had dropped down a few levels and disappeared, as all of our reserve players are apt to do. I was most surprised when I read of him at Halifax.

Well we beat Boreham Wood away which is a big surprise given our away record the last 2 years, big penalty save with 15 to go. Still plenty to improve on for us and some players to return from injury but this is hopefully a turning point. McCallum’s first start for a while too.

Still see us being top half of mid table at most.
