Looking at them I'm fully expecting us to be at least 5th by close of play but with a game or 2 in hand.

Week off for us, we’ve got a very weird December. Supposed to be the busiest time of the season but we only play three league games.

Would be nice if Wrexham or Bromley failed to win so we don’t drop a couple of places, but you’d make both pretty clear favourites.

Keen to see how Grimsby fare away at Daggers. Despite dropping down the table a bit I thought Daggers looked decent against Notts (when they had the ball...). I'm hoping Grimsby lose given we play them the week after.

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
In the absence of anything more exciting, Shots are home to Altrincham.
We’re well up for this, only snag is absence of Kinsella, and we are not overloaded with decent left- backs. Problem is, Alty have proper wingers, and score plenty. If we can overwhelm their midfield, we should win a high-scoring game.
Optimistically, 3-2 Shots, fingers firmly crossed

Barnets 2 win again. In good form hope to put Maidenhead away. Creeping into the top half.

I remember nearly all the Wealdstone and Aldershot fans being equally as pessimistic before playing us too…..

Also we nearly always lose at Dagenham.
Home win.

Our record on 3G pitches is horrible so not expecting anything at Bromley today.

Any manager whose team fails to beat Dover should be on the chopping block. I can't believe Rowe survived it, he must have some dodgy pictures of the chairman.

4-1 in 2008, huh? When was last time Grimsby conceded 4 at this level? And the time before that? #CannonFodder :bdick:

They won’t do that, they will just engulf your club and become Dagenham and Redbridge and Leytonstone and Ilford and Wingate and Walthamstow and Chesterfield
I see Ruislip Raiders are still obsessed after we beat them with 10 men over 90 minutes in the cup.

Mullin playing for Wrexham.
our team is weaker than usual - i'm off to look up the over 3.5/4.5/5.5 goals odds

Altrincham sliding down
It surprises me, they looked a good side against us the other week, moved the ball around nicely and had some useful players going forward. I guess it's hard to get up for games like Aldershot when you've had your cup final at the Technique though; after the lord mayors show and all that
