  • Aldershot Town v Wealdstone
  • Altrincham v Barnet
  • Boreham Wood v Stockport County
  • FC Halifax Town v Bromley
  • King's Lynn Town v Dagenham & Redbridge
  • Maidenhead United v Woking
  • Solihull Moors v Yeovil Town
  • Torquay United v Notts County
  • Wrexham v Chesterfield
  • Eastleigh v Sutton United

Getting to the business end now, so might as well start this early. Some tasty looking fixtures, too (for the NL). No Notts fan thinks we will get anything at Torquay, but I have a slight feeling we might get something. Sounds like the Gulls' injury concerns might be mounting again? Burchnall could really do with a positive result, and an even better post-match press conference!

Elsewhere, Halifax versus a resurgent Bromley is simply huge, but the biggest match of the day has to be Wrexham against the faltering Spireites. Massive!

No Pools as they've moved their game with Weymouth to the end of the season to get some fans in, which seems... odd, given their current momentum?

I wanted us to play Saturday and just keep winning, I guess chairman wants and expects an allocated sell out last game, the way things are panning out it's probably going to be a dead rubber game anyway.

Yes. It is a bit of a risk. If it were us I’d have wanted us to keep up the pressure on Sutton.

Yep no surprise he saw the ££££ signs.

Should've played it this weekend but I'll be on holiday anyway so wouldn't have seen it.

Fan opinion is a bit split but I'd definitely want to play it this weekend while we're still in the running.

Tough game away at Eastleigh, we’ve only won there once before, 2-1 in September 2007. Hopefully we can build on the positive momentum from Saturdays win at Altrincham and not freeze in front of the BT cameras

This was the time we’ve had a free midweek since Burchnall came in (and a long time before that tbf). We’ve looked knackered, low on confidence and generally uncertain of what we’re trying to achieve for a while, hopefully a full week on the training ground working on stuff will have helped.

Doyle being back fit is also a bonus, which I can’t quite believe I’m saying.

Torquay is a game we would have probably won under NA. I am not confident at all under IB.

At least he is now wearing club colours and the badge, lets hope that follows on Saturday. The coach has to at least wear the badge if he isnt a suit type.
Not expecting anything other than defeat 1-0 Gulls

No thoughts on our game at Solihull, everything is all a bit meh for the rest of the season.

Nobody knows as the club never release any info. Danny Wright travelled to Woking but didn't even make the bench leading to suggestions he pulled up in training in the afternoon (we usually train somewhere local to the hosts for midweek away games).

Johnson says the 3 players taken off were precautionary subs so may be fit may not.

I think today is the last day for signings? So we may have someone new in but we usually don't announce signings until just before kick off for their first sppearance so may not hear about it until Saturday.

Scrappy 1-0 to us if Wright is fit, the other way round if he isn't.

This kind of stuff is just weird. The man wears clothes. This is... fine?

Yes, must admit I don’t get some of the stuff I’ve seen about him not wearing a Notts County managers coat or trackie on the touchline. Some have linked it to a lack of ‘passion’(?). Gareth Ainsworth wears skinny jeans and red winklepickers, neither of which bear a Wycombe crest, and he’s done ok. Ditto Paul Tisdale (well, until Bristol Rovers). Some of the other comments are a bit odd too, some fairly personal stuff from what I’ve seen, I mean it’s really not his fault he replaced the world’s nicest manager guy.

I’m still going to wait until he’s had a chance to get a few of his own in before I call for his head. James Rowe signed at least 15, and was even allowed to furlough half the deadbeats he inherited from Pemberton!

We've scored 8 in our last 2 outings, conceding none and Chesterfield lost their last 2.

I don't feel confident in the slightest, these aren't the sort of games we win.

Some fans hate it if a manager isn't going mental on the touchline all game long, shows a lack of passion, like they aren't taking their jobs seriously. Same with clothes. If it doesn't fit their predetermined view of what a manager looks like they can't process it.

Big weekend for the landscape of the top 10. I wasn’t too impressed with Bromley at their place but they’ve had a new manager bounce since then so it will be an interesting game. If we can win that it puts us in a very good position regardless of other results imo

It’s even weirder considering he wears the same terrible Vanarama branded coat that Ardley did, and most of the rest of the managers in the league do. Unless it’s hot, when he takes it off to reveal... a jumper and not a 1980s replica shirt.

Bromley is a huge game for us if we get the win We'd have to nosedive for Bromley to catch us. we've been far too consistent since christmas its rather disconcerting.

On Bromley I didn't watch the away game but would it be fair to say if you stop Cheek you go along way to stopping Bromley?

If we get the win we could be starting to look very secure. However it's about this point we usually throw in a defeat just to make it hard for ourselves.

See Chesterfield have thrown some more money around. Rowe always struck me as the type that Is a good finisher but if he wasn't scoring he didn't really offer that much to the team

Kings Lynn want £12 for a stream in a dead rubber match, deluded. We should win and I hope we do.

Danny Wright out for Torquay with his hammy, I see. Will it make any difference? Maybe!

Our record against the top teams at home is pretty poor we have only beaten Sutton drawn with Hpools and Halifax and lost to Stockport and Torquay

Would you expect them to change their regular gate entry fee for a "dead rubber"? No, you wouldn't!

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Shots home to Wealdstone, who are apparently just going through the motions to fulfil fixtures. Which will inevitably mean a home defeat, as some of the team are already on the beach. Not paying to watch this one, have had enough for the moment. Roll on August.

Hollywood money v Government money

We’ve struggled now we’ve lost the spine of our team in Hollis, McCourt and Asante but the signing of Rowe will hopefully rejuvenate us. I’m away in Cornwall so will miss it but hopefully we get something as our run in looks very tricky now.

Always does. Teams crumble when he gets injured, it happened to Torquay earlier this season and it happened to us in 2013.

A big loss for Torquay. Wright has been one of the best forwards down here for years (apart from when he was in L2 of course)

They need the Saturday off after knackering themselves celebrating their goals last week.
