Might as well start this.. good chance for us to make it 29 points from the last 12 games and catch up a bit on the leaders with a trip to beleaguered Wealdstone… Aberstone sounded a bit depressed after the Woking game, so I’m guessing you’re not holding out too much hope for tomorrow?

Elsewhere, highlights include Borehamwood travelling to beleaguered and injury-hit Halifax, an almighty Brotherhood clash in North Wales, and if Stockport can even overcome a Devonshiring while the phenomenon is in absolute peak form, the title is surely theirs in all but name.

A tasty evening awaits!

I do fear that tomorrow is going to be a mauling. Saturday to me really highlighted how narrow we are out of possession and my suspicion is that Notts will use the flanks to cause us all sorts of problems. Perhaps it's the pitches cutting up but we were regressing quite badly even before the Covid outbreak hit the squad and led to that lengthy delay. At the start of the season and even with the game at Meadow Lane, players were positionally sound and we had outlets to move the ball and find space transitioning further up the pitch. Now that seems to have disappeared entirely... in my opinion at least. We really need Rhys Browne back and ASAP.

I see we've given you 900 tickets for tomorrow night, how many can we expect from Notts? I'd have thought 500 or so.

Wealdstone have lost 5 of their last 6 league games, with the 1 victory coming against Dover.

Notts have won 4 of their last 6 league games with a draw at Borehamwood and a loss at Eastleigh. I think we all know how this one is going to go.

First home league game for us since the 11th December, so I am hyped. I cannot see us lining up the same way as we did on Saturday, with Kwame Thomas having an absolute stinker of a game and Bryce Hosannah going off injured. I suspect we will start with Liam McAlinden at left wing back again, which may leave us a little exposed defensively but will provide us more going forward.

If Palmer or Oliver sign today or tomorrow morning, I think they'll be thrown straight into the first team for Tuesday night's game alongside Mullin. Although Jordan Ponticelli had a great half when he came on against Yeovil, he works better as an impact player. The midfield will be unchanged so I expect we won't see a lot of the ball in the middle of the park unless our 3 midfielders have stormers, which isn't beyond Jordan Davies this season but I haven't seen the other 2 play a game where they have been above 'decent' yet.

Tozer and Hayden were especially shaky against Yeovil, so if Grimsby have any forwards who can apply the pressure constantly they may be able to force them into making an error. We will be weak defensively on the wings too, so if JMD turns up for Grimsby I expect him to tear us apart down those sides. He will also get booed relentlessly.

Big turnout hopefully at the Cae Ras, 8000+ with over 500 from Grimsby. Under the lights, it will hopefully be a decent occasion for ourselves.

I should think something like that, think it’s a new ground for us which always adds a few.

As for the game, we’ll see. We struggled a bit in the first half at KL a couple of weeks back but had enough quality in the end. I’m not really expecting a walkover tomorrow night though. What’s your pitch like?

Any win will do whilst we all wait to get the signings we're hoping for at some point this week.

I imagine it will be another pretty drab home performance (under huge home expectations) and it'll be a tight scoreline either way

There's a noticeable slope but the pitch is generally very good. We're a passing side so try to have the pitch accommodate that.

It will be good to see two potential 'best players in the league' against each other in Davies and McAtee.

Mullins goal at the weekend has got me optimistic he's finding his range again. We owe Grimsby for earlier in the season when they gave us a beasting.

We haven't won a single game against a brother yet this season. Time to put that right.

Yeah I would think around 500 should be heading down, looking forward to it.

I thought the game against Wealdstone at ML earlier in the season was a great watch, both teams playing some proper stuff and loads of chances. It presumably won’t be so open at a smaller ground and, as ever, these are the games we potentially hate. We appear to have everyone fit and available though, which is nice.

Hmm. If everything Lew has led me to believe is true, McAtee is king of the high press. Grimsby to do a Brotherhood double, imo.

Looking forward to our annual defeat at Bromley.

If it happens, I’ll be less annoyed than Grimsby who DEFINITELY haven’t nibbled at Andy Woodman.

Not confident at all for this one. Green and Spence injury doubts who have both been immense in midfield for us this season. Add in several members of the squad dealing with illness over the weekend, it doesn’t bode well.

Hopefully the illness passes and we can get in this signing that is imminent in time. We need all the numbers we can get at the minute.

First Southend game for me since Weymouth. Not sure what to make of tomorrows game, we're in much better form and appear to have a much clearer idea of a game plan but then from the looks of Aldershot I think the same could be said of them. I'd certainly be happy with a point.
Quietly pleased Murphy is out for a while, I think Dalby works much better alongside Dennis and we won't have to witness his ridiculous falling to the ground anytime someone breathes within 3 feet of him.

Not confident about tomorrow. We should be winning it but as any Wrexham fan will tell you, we never do things as they should be done!
Hopefully Stockport get a devonshiring (and then hope we avoid it on Saturday!) and Wealdstone can hold County back.
So, having said that, Stockport and Notts to win and Wrexham to mess it up again. :)

I just would like to see us win an away game. I'd even take a goal.

Weymouth away after there great point at Boreham with a new manager in charge and us after our awful showing against Stockport, we don’t draw many but I feel this could be one of them. Was actually meant to be going with 4 others in a car but we’ve all decided jog it on.

For the first time this season a game for us that could really through any result up.

Aldershot had improved greatly and created so space between us, but have lost their main goalscorer for the first half of the season, Andrews to L2 Col U, on loan from parent club AFC Wimbledon.

So it wouldn't be surprising to lose.

However we have bought a couple in and have improved greatly since losing at home 3-2 to the Shots earlier in the season. We have closed the gap to them again and are 1 point behind with two games in hand. Most of our fans would be happy with a point and some view it as a winnable fixture, which is would definitely not have been about a month ago.

I am going for a fence sitting point, solely because whilst we are creating far more chances now, we are not taking enough of them.

Should be a good game though and hopefully Mark Moseley will get a bit of appreciation for what he tried to do for us, with his hands tied firmly behind his back.

You may be less appreciate if they're trying to waste time and he punts the ball into the stands like he did on Saturday the weirdo.

We don't beat brothers so I'm expecting either 0-0 or 0-1 to them.

I don't care what form they are in, you only have to look at Steve Rusk-led Stockport beating us for proof of that.

Allegedly this phenomenon only occurs at home, they've only picked up 5 points away from home all season... it would be the ultimate Devonshiring I suppose

The first of a huge week for us. Would probably take a draw at this stage, Southend were awful against us earlier in the season but sounds like they’ve finally sorted their act out.

They Devonshired us at home the season before last, and Hartlepool last season…

It was our assistant that threw the ball into the stands, rather than Molesley. Also we went to Chesterfield for a point (understandably), and would be suprised if we had the same mentality tomorrow.

As for the game tomorrow, I think it will be tough given Southend have won their last few. We need 4 points from Southend and Weymouth this week, although i'm not too bothered which way around the points come.

Southend fans - do you think you'll bring many tomorrow?

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Proper old Div.4 fixture at the Rec tomorrow, 2 fallen giants scrapping for survival points. Don’t know where the goals are gonna come from, so reckon we’ll be losing this ( and arranging for the floodlights to fail a̶g̶a̶i̶n̶ )
Bloody hell, that would be fun….
