Looking forward to tonight's match. Tough match against old foes Grimsby. Be nice to see S Pearson again and I am sure he will have a warm welcome from another 8000 Crowd. We are in good form so hopeful for another win

Can't believe Wrexham have just spent a club record 300k and offered 5k a week in wages just to sign an ex Grimsby player to make sure he scores against us tomorrow night.

pocket change
If he doesn't score tonight then the signing has failed already!

I'd like to see him start and see how Pearson copes with him, PP will probably put him on the bench as Ponti changed the game against Yeovil and may have earned a start. Will be a good welcome back for SP but hope he has a bit of a shocker.

2-1 Wrexham, Mullin and Davies to score.

My only concern about tonight is that it's another Tin Potter and our only defeats at the Shay this season have been at the hands of Tin Potters,

We're all tin potters as it stands. Just hug yourself, embrace it and accept it. National league therapy helpline is always here for you. X

Given Pearson played with him for us I’m sure he’ll have a very good idea of what he’s about

Exactly, SP was good at dealing with this kind of thing.....I want to see how they fare against each other.

Allegedly this phenomenon only occurs at home, they've only picked up 5 points away from home all season... it would be the ultimate Devonshiring I suppose
No losing at home to Dover a week on Sat would be the biggest Devonshiring in the history of Devonshiring.

I had this one pencilled in at the beginning of the season but the unnecessarily delay in announcing ticket arrangements and the tinshitpottery of Wrexham not having a working printer plus our form, put paid to any likelihood of me going. Not seen an update on tickets but can't see us having 500 there. Would have thought more like to be around 300.

Taylor's due a goal and we need to keep a clean sheet at some point. Neither will be tonight though. 3-0 home win.

Really looking forward to tonight, can't make it due to work, but will be by the radio. Gonna be tough for sure, but the carrot for us is win and we will jump up to 15th.

Sure fire defeat then lol.

Looking more and more like another home sellout, or close to. Means the game will be utter dross.

Has Palmer been confirmed as available then? Was just reported as "signing with a view to be available for tomorrow night's match vs Grimsby".

One of the members of Shrimperzone posted this ahead of tonight's game and I just feel it needs a bigger audience; written by Barling Magna I give you.......

THE BALLARD OF MARK MOLESLEY

I gave it my best shot

But I couldn’t stop the rot.

I wanted them to build from the back

But fans gave me too much flak

About the way which we play

And the players couldn’t do it anyway.

We just kept on losing

It wasn’t my choosing

I wanted them to go forward more

But I shouted and swore and told them to score

We practised shooting all day

But the players couldn’t do it anyway.

Carrying just too much cargo

No money and an embargo

I pleaded with Ron for new men

He snorted and said wait for January then

And change the way that we play

But the players couldn’t do it anyway.

I thought it was sinister

He was on the phone to India

Where I knew Phil Brown could be found

I tried new ideas on the training ground

Set pieces and tricks every day

But the players couldn’t do it anyway.

By the end of January

We faced a quandary

No players will sign for us

Ron said “Mark, make no fuss

Just tell ‘em park the bus”

But the players couldn’t do it anyway.

We were back in danger

Ron gave me Nile Ranger

Who was clearly unfit

And a bit of a git

I prayed for good luck on Saturday

But the players couldn’t do it anyway

But then parking the bus

Was working for us

Though our play was a real bore

We were drawing matches more

A few wins would save the day

But the players couldn’t do it anyway

Safety was so close

But other teams had to lose

“You’re history” said Ron

And so I was gone

A new manager will make it okay

But Phil Brown couldn’t do it anyway……

Tough one for us tonight. Just hope Dallas used up all his luck in the first half v Dover on Saturday (either that or he trips up getting off the team bus tonight and sprains his ankle - nothing life-threatening, just a sprain).

Not sure what to make of us so far this season, 10 wins, 4 draws, 10 losses, 0 goal difference. But a win tonight and points dropped by those teams below us would put is in a rather healthy position considering our shite start to the campaign.

So, cue the 0-5 home drubbing!

We're well overdue a Hursty special 0-1 away win.
Yeah I was thinking this earlier, this is just the sort of game in really shit form where we all expect to get beat to instead go and produce a 1-0 Hurst masterclass, goal in the first 20 minutes then shithouse the last 70.

I remember last time down here going to Wrexham when we’d started the season pretty shit and Wrexham had some special day going on for an anniversary (can’t remember which anniversary it was) with their ground packed out and we went and shithoused them 1-0 that day with a penalty, today has that same sort of feel to it for me.

He was the featured player on our 'Match day' graphic on social media, so I would think he must be in the squad at least, he's in form and slots in so he should start, but Jordan Ponticelli came on at halftime against Yeovil and changed the game so he could go that way and slowly introduce Olly later on.

That is very much a Wrexham thing to do as well.....Have Pearson score the goal getting the better of 200k Tozer and you've got it!!

I think it was their 500th match in non-league, wasn't it?

As the day goes on I'm convincing myself we're gonna get some Hurst magic tonight. Harness the spirit of Glenn Downey. We've had enough smash and grabs at Blundell Park recently that we're well past being owed some lucky points.

I suddenly have a very bad feeling about this......
0-1 banker. Hurst to be a genius once again. We don't win these sort of games.

I'm sure Palmer will start, he played on Saturday so doesn't need to get up to fitness. Tozer's paperwork was done in 1 day so I'm sure Palmer's will be too.

We are definitely losing this and then all the jokes will be out. I had better mock up some bad photoshop efforts of Rowe breaking the law to divert attention.

Right, had a look and these are my predictions...

Aldershot, Bromley,Stockport all home wins
Solihull, Notts Co, Dagenham and Grimsby all away wins
The rest draws.

Got a feeling tonight's game is going to be a tight one. Every game recently seems to have been a stroll, it's been unnervingly unstressful. Got to change at some point.
I reckon early Maidenhead goal, we equalise at some point and will be a test of us whether we can go on and knick the winner to show that promotion material.

Ahhh just realised it's at your place. Can't see a Devonshiring tonight now, early goal and you'll win 4-0.

Stockport are the only BELT/tinpotter up at the top end of the table to not get a Devonshiring at Maidenhead. Ours was 1-1 but we took the lead and gave it the big 'un through the cage when we scored so that was definitely a partial Devonshiring.

Yeah....very poor away this season. Normally marginally better away than at home but not this year.
Will be very surprised if we get anything tonight but never write off the cloth capped old fella.

They have won at our place recently tbf, 1-0 in August '19. We've won 2 and drawn 2 of our 4 visits to Maidenhead however
