We haven't beaten Halifax since 2 October 2014, when Halifax were top of the league, as I recall. Goals from Kyle Perry and non-league's greatest ever winger Nicky Clee.

Edit - Halifax were actually second. I see Danny Hattersley was up front for Fax that day. In his very short stint with us, Danny was possibly the worst striker I ever saw in an Alty shirt, and I have seen a few duffers.
Halifax were certainly not top of the league at any point that season. We were top for pretty much all of that season!

Our match at Maidenhead was a gruesome watch, but that’s still miles better than the vast majority of our matches this season.
Hooper really needs to be fired into the sun though.

We won our first 5 games, as you did, we were CERTAINLY top at some point in that spell. :ds:

Well, I have to defer to you there but you wouldn’t have remained top by October.

Tuesday night is now massive for us. If we beat Wrexham we will have a 6 point cushion with a game in hand still.

I thought we would stumble today but we just got the job done.

Jack Earing is far too good to be playing down here. He wont be with us next year

Very good win that. Best we’ve looked defensively for a long time on a difficult pitch against a handy team.

Beat Wrexham on Tuesday and then I’ll take back my previous comments and call us serious playoff contenders.

Very unlikely he will be with us next year. Heard from a very good source he’s got several clubs sniffing round him but that’s pretty obvious to anyone really at this point.

Calm down dear, not if Eastleigh and Bromley also win. It's all or nothing with you isn't it, with nothing in between. :fl:

Its looking more like a when that an if. Our players have packed in, anyone with anything about them will beat us.

Never know with us. We have only lost 1 in 10 which is far too consistent for Halifax Town. A camacasy performance is probably due if I was to be a cynic. Although we have a very good home record over Wrexham so who knows.

We are absurdly slow starters, every single game.

Would you, as a division, please stop diving against us all the time. Embarrassing stuff again from Shelton there.

About as embarrassing as Ellis’ reaction holding his face on the floor...

Agreed, but Ellis gave away a penalty a couple of games ago from an equally pathetic dive, so I can see why he’s pissed off with it.

That is what will happen if you don’t even try and stop a cross all half..

Well that was absolutely fucking shit.

Reserve keeper in for Hartlepool and he could have been sitting in the stand with the other keeper.

I would like to say we won’t be as bad in the second half but I know full well we probably will be.

Hahaha at the Hartlepool summariser guy saying we probably won’t want to bring Roberts on because it’s cold.
