Sounded like a good turn out from York fans.

Wasn't at the game so can't comment on the sending off and penalty incidents till I've seen the highlights. But fair have seen people saying they spoke to Andy Collett at HT and Post Match and he was surprised to see a red.

Was always going to be a tough ask against a FT time side especially playing Saturday/Tuesday for the last couple of weeks, sounded like we had chances to draw level but similarly sounded like Donaldson should have atleast had his Hattrick. The re-arranged Telford game next Saturday now looks like a big one to try and build some momentum into our league season.
View in away end is poor but thought tackle was late and high and deserved a yellow.
I was behind goal and can confirm it was def a pen your centre half dragged Beck to ground.
Your defence isn’t that good, how the hell didn’t Griffiths play right back because the number 7 was awful.think your physio showed more pace than him.

Prayers answered. He's gone. Lee Mansell in, albeit as interim. Would like to think he'd be a success, local lad who is universally liked.

Alfreton into the playoff spots. Billy Heath for manager of the month DSL?
I bet we have got vertigo!!
Best performance of the season so far today. Best I have seen us in terms of managing a game for a few years. Personally I think we are in somewhat of a false position. We couldnt have responded better from the disaster at Cleethorpes. Just a shame we have two weeks off now!!

Real test of our promise when AFC Fylde visit on October 9th now

Good game today. Kiddy looked a tidy team. I always felt thought that we’d get a winner. Dobbie with his first touch. Nick haughton is in that strange position where he looks far too good for this league but not sure whether he’d be a star in the league above. He wasn’t given a fair crack at the whip last time tho cos of Jordan Williams and Tom Walker. We’ve started well though and look a good side

What has gone so wrong compared to last year's surprising, but impressive run up to Jan?

Experienced and proven players at this level left and he didn't replace them. The loan signings have been really poor. Galvin and Piggott don't look good enough for this level, Smales-Braithwaite swans about without a care in the world. It was clear as we went into the season we were far too light in defence and only had McClure as a recognised forward but he dithered and didn't sign anyone. McClure went off injured today, so we effectively have no replacement right now. Just poor squad management and tactically he didn't look like he's actually got any. Massively disappointing considering what we expected.

It isn't all that great from the sides either! I thought the red card card was somewhat slightly harsh on the lad.
As for the penalty did he really need to drag him down. Nothing against Beck but he used his elbows all day and got away with it. As for our defence we lost our best defender when Cooper got his marching orders. And we had a centre half on the bench so that tells a story.

And your right our number 7 was very pedestrian today and had a bad day at right back in my opinion having seen our defence and our attackers.

I thought overall we played quite well especially in the second half when we were given a lifeline with Charman pulling a goal back. And let's be honest here the referee was absolutely clueless in both camps with some dodgy decision making with his stop start play approach and his tarot cards!

Anyway well done it was a good win for York!

It's awful when you have to wish for a defeat to get rid of a piece of dogshit! It shouldn't get to this stage they should just fuck off and leave the club..

Roll the red carpet out for 'Billy' the fans should be tempted to regard him as a messiah rather than a manager

Yeah unfortunately the ground is what it is. Its what we could afford at the time to get back to Darlo. But now between the Rugby Club being uninterested in letting us buy in and not wanting any more development on the site. And an unsupportive council and a lack of benefactor to pay for and build our own ground we're stuck with what we have.

Sounds like the opinion I've heard from most on the key incidents, the red was probs a yellow at worst and the pen was albeit Beck made the most of it.

Defence isn't good enough this season, hence we've scored 10 goals in 6 games and only managed to win one of them. Can only assume Griffiths was injured/carrying a knock as he's been decent in the last few games.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Very hard fought win vs BPA very harsh on BPA to lose but game ended up decided in a crucial 2-3 minute period.

first 30 mins were total Curzon domination could tell the confidence we have and wary ness their side after last weeks thumping. Grabbed a deserved lead, could have got more.

then for no real reason Bradford just suddenly upped their game 30 minutes and battered us creating numerous good moves and deserved their goal as we had to really work hard to keep it 1-1 at half time.

second half very even both sides had moments. Then came the key moment they broke 2 on 1 and ran into box and ball squared to player needing only to shoot straight to score but he shot upwars and missed.

then in what seems typical football fashion moment within a few mins of failing a great chance we got our first real chance since 30th minute and score.

after that we held really well and Bradford got little to get back into it.

Is Jordan Hulme playing yet? I guess his ban must be served by now.

I see you've signed Milan Butterfield. Decent signing that. Massive Cdm who's very good at the basics and pops up with the odd goal. But he does get called up to play for Bermuda a lot.

He’s been poor for us so far. I’m hoping he’ll improve but he’s been a bad signing this far
He took a few games to get going for us when he first signed. I know he hasn't just signed for you, but he may as well have, given all the delays and cancellations etc. Good player, I think he needs to be the top dog though. Whether he is at Fylde I don't know.

How’s Ben Tollitt doing at Fylde?

He’s been absolutely brilliant. Him and nick haughton our 2 best players by some distance. Really, really impressed with Tollitt

I hope for his sake he is getting back to the player who was at Tranmere when they went up, because that player is brilliant.

Unfortunately we rarely saw that player here for a number of reasons, although we will always have Salford when he ripped them apart.

Out on loan to Ashton Utd, I see today

Yeah I’ve literally just seen that on Twitter. Just hasn’t done it for us at all. We were spoilt with Rowe. It’s our one weakness this season IMO

We’ve just signed Danny Ellis from Farsley, he sounds like the experienced CB we’ve been crying out for.

Welcome to the club Danny.

lot of Darlington fans and commentators saying never a red, looks clear cut sending off to me.
must admit hard to see anything in away end, desperately in need of some terracin.
It was appealed on the basis the referee admitted after the game that it should have been a yellow and the referees assessor marked the ref down on the basis he too thought it should have been a yellow. Both these comments went into the match report apparently, which was submitted to the FA appeals board. Who then flatly ignored it and stuck with the decision on the day.

Anyway on a more somber note, Alun Armstrong taken into hospital this afternoon, hoping its nothing too serious and he makes a speedy recovery.
