We didn't have a single shot in our game today. Not just on target, a shot of any sort at all. No corners either.

So triggered I’m probably going to go to Blundell Park and set fire to it in the return match.
Just to spite you, because you’ve made a shit non-point on a football form.

Now, acting as the adult in this exchange (one of us has to) I will say I thought GTFC won more second balls than anyone we’ve played so far, and they stretched us more than any other side has, even without scoring.
An impressive all-round side, I thought.

lmao calm down m8 we play an intense high press which wasn't quite as full on today cos McAtee, Taylor and Hunt all look like they need a break, it's got nothing to do with how many matches Woking's players have played

Haha! Calm? I’m cooler than The Fonz about today. We had a go, and nearly beat/held the greatest Champions-Elect in the whole history of football to a result.
I tug my forelock to the mighty Mariners and am only sorry that your well-paid professional players had to play football games before they faced knackered and depleted Woking, and I cannot emphasise enough just how apologetic I am that your superstars were mildly inconvenienced by our plucky NL cloggers.

If you can’t take a bit of light hearted banter then you’re probably on the wrong forum.

Just picked my lad up and he was very complimentary of Woking, said they had 2 or 3 chances where he thought they would score but he said they put a couple wide and one Towler put in a superb block to stop a certain goal and he said they are the best team we’ve played so far that he’s seen.

?? You were playing Grimsby, although we normally play in black and white stripes we are not yet Saudi backed; average salary in Woking £52k - I think most of your Gentlemen part timers will earn more in total than our well paid Players

Yeah class that, I was with one of that guy's mates today and he messaged him saying he was with Andrew Pettit, not sure if Stockwood was there or not. Great stuff from Woking.

Apparently he sent the same question via email to Bromley and they told him to get fucked and sent a GIF of Michael Cheek celebrating after they beat us.

Apparently Rosemary had a gif of Garry Hill celebrating ready to send back since 2912.

But genuinely she has time for anyone, always accomodating.

It's getting really toxic again at Huish Park. Back to the bad old days of the previous Darren. This is a very bad sign.

:ffs: Why shouldn't they? If you can't dream what's the fucking point!
Because its the kind of thing you sing when you're top of the league in the back half of the season not when 3rd in October.
But then again i also don't think fans should be singing that opposition goalkeepers are a nonce. Maybe I'm just more traditional that way.

Poor that against a side that was likely short on confidence after Tuesday night, and had conceded a combined 7 goals in the last 20 minutes of the previous two games. Expected Yeovil to put us under some serious pressure to see if we cracked, but it never came.

“Could tell we were knackered after playing two games a week for a fortnight”

now..I’m not taking away that you edged a good, even game, and were the best side I’ve seen so far this year…but…you realise we’ve also played games in the last couple of weeks right?
Erm, perhaps have a look at our last few fixtures and then tell me we’ve been sitting around on our arses with cigars and hookers while your brave heroes have been fighting Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder one-on-one for 14 days.

FFS.
4 out of our last 5 games have been away and all long trips including 3 midweek trips to Bromley, altrincham and yourselves. You have had 3 home games and 2 away with both the away games being at the weekend.

So yes you’ve played the same number of games, but that’s not quite the whole story is it.

Proper 'smash and grab' away win! We were pretty poor for the majority of the match and didn't create much until the last ten minutes. Jamey Osborne slowly building up his game time after injury is a massive boost for us.

Good to have Kyle Hudlin back on the pitch as well - he made a good impact in the last 10 mins after coming on.

Intrigued about what kind of reaction Osborne is gonna get from us. Definitely recognised by us as a big talent but his departure definitely left a bitter taste with a lot of Town fans.

Danny Rowe is back!! Is Fyldefan up yet or is he still out celebrating?
In all seriousness, 2 very well taken goals and a good performance from us. We did what we should have done against Wrexham and went for the jugular which was good. Probably won’t get many easier games on the road all season.
Couple of home games up next after the FA Cup weekend too which will be nice, feel like I’ve done some right miles recently. 3 away games in 10 days

Bet if the century yesterday Chesterfield. 23/20 I got them at on Tuesday. They’d come in slightly to 21/20 when I looked yesterday. I don’t care what anyone says there is money to be made in non league betting. The only problem is trying to get a decent stake on. A ton yesterday on chesterfield. I’m not sure how much more than that they’d let you put on

Ha ha I wish we still had him. I watched him for years. He’s an unbelievable player. You play him every game and he’ll hit loads. The front players chesterfield have is unreal for this level. No other team in non league can boast that attacking prowess

Undoubted talent, fitness always looked an issue to me. Not sure he wants it enough to play at a higher level...

Well we can start again with a new management team and IF Ron finally listens to Stan a proper one this time round!! Glad there is no transfer window, so we can rebuild the team now too......

Our wage budget this year is £1.4m!!!!!

Our players really have been stealing a living and it has to end NOW!

We're massively short on confidence. We don't have a plan b and the manager doesn't know who to play. There was another incident at full time where a player swore at a fan (admittedly the fan swore at them first). It's all going very badly and getting toxic.

TRIGGERED.
This is the same technique Leftie wankers use to discourage counter arguments, only they throw "RACIST!" at people. It's the same mindset. I guess all wankers are basically the same huh, be they Leftie or Grimsby wankers. :ds:

Probably our best performance of the season, so to come away with nothing was pretty gutting.

Our own stupid fault though for yet again falling asleep from a set play right on half time. One day we'll learn!

Thought the Stockport keeper had an exceptional game, made at least 3 or 4 top quality saves
If that's your best then you truly are screwed, I thought we were the better of two poor sides, main difference being some nice play down our right flank as MSH and Crankshaw relentlessly pushed on. If we'd have had a second forward up front we could have had a couple more before half time, but as Madden was on his own every sortie into the Aldershot box was intercepted with ease.

Just realised that we’ve got Barnet, Dover and potentially an FA Cup game in between the Bromley match.

Could be the middle of November by the time he departs.
I said to my mate, it feels like that run last season, we're picking up points by default.

Important win yesterday with results going our way as well.

Really feel for Dover. They were awful. Should have probably made it a bit more comfortable. We’re a midfield pairing away from a decent side. Brundle and Payne is just so pedestrian.
