FT 2-0

Job done with both Rowe and Tshimanga on the scoresheet, perfect away day

Sickener for Wrexham there too

How we lost that no idea. Better team all over the park. Maidenhead will struggle if there only option is long to Blissett

Well everyone. The secret to beating Stockport is to press them high. As comprehensive an away performance from us as I can remember. We must have had 15-20 chances compared to about 5 from them. Little shown from Stockport and then the errors started creeping in once 2-1 down.

Rusk under pressure already....

Josh Walker is going to be a problem for sides this season. Rapid.

This has become very reminiscent of our opener against Eastleigh last season (albeit against a better team this time).

Except we actually spent money on this team and they've had a full pre season, unlike last season's line up of mostly late freebies.

Hate equalisers deep into injury time, I'd hoped we left that behind us last season.

That said I'd have taken a draw before the game, and to be fair Solihull were the best team before our goal. They are a decent side and will win more games at home than they lose or draw. Once we sort out our defence and midfield we will be up there this season.

Ahh right, I saw Chiefs post and thought he must be a defender who was a bit dodgy and then saw he had scored a worldie but then checked on the BBC website and it has him as playing upfront.

Pretty easy mistake to make.
There must be thousands of David Jones' around and also the BBC formations ate often hilariously wrong.

They’ll be a nightmare for any side to play at their place this season, I’m happy to get away from there with a point tbh.

Good start to the season, away win and a clean sheet. Bit better than last season for sure!

Admittedly I was not there but the twitter feed suggested Maidenhead had far more chances and were the better team.

He ain’t lasting long at Stockport is he. Spent more than some countries. Wrexham bloody hell lads what’s going on. Chesterfield won me £105 with Sir Danny Rowe scoring. He’ll hit a shit load this season

Not sure we learned much about the worries about Notts there, just kind of confirmed what we thought. You’ve got to stop us at source, if we get on the ball and confident we’re going to be very hard to stop. I want to see us against a team that tries/succeeds in bullying us off the ball, but for now you can’t really argue. A fairytale return really!

They had some chances. Your 2 goals came from mistakes by us. Very direct team.
We move on. We'll win far more than we lose playing like that

Ardley getting an injury timer against Wrexham is almost as good as winning 5-0 away.

The leagues two big spenders come crashing down to earth as they’re undone by teams with yearly budgets that probably match their weekly ones

I blame Yeovil, we had a nice easy home banker against them set up and they get scared and call in sick and we have to go to Solihoof instead where they snap Hall Johnsons ankle and get 7 extra minutes added on for some reason.
