Food & drink: Fittingly, the Green Man is the official Forest Green Rovers pub on Sunday. Just five minutes walk from the ground, the pub serves good food, real ales and has a pub garden. It opens from 11am this Sunday: The Green Man, Dagmar Ave, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 8DF.

Be full of our lot way before you get there. Bad idea not to split, wont end well.
Yeah you don't want to run into the FGR front line :bl:

Seems so much more real now the weekends here. What a opportunity this is, I genuinely believe we can do it.

Grimsby will be favourites no doubt. Nerves are kicking in though, fuck knows how I'll feel Sunday morning!

It's only football. Enjoy the day, no matter the outcome.

No pub split for the game on Sunday so I'm sure there will be plenty of Mariners in there too.

I look forward to having drink with anybody and especially Grimsby fans.
Good banter and plenty of smiles before game.
And in truth those of us who have travelled to their ground appreciate the lovely hospitality their club offers to away supporters.
But tomorrow

I'll be there, can't wait for "fish boom boom fish ". Btw I have a 100% record for playoff wins so you can all relax Mariners :hypo:
Seriously, good luck Grimsby. I and a lot of gasheads have got a lot of respect and affection for your club and support after our season in the conference.

So how do we see it going tomorrow? I originally had FGR down to win the play-offs, but for some reason I think Grimsby will do it. Maybe it's because I work in Grimsby and I'm surrounded by Town fans on a daily basis, but I've got a feeling it'll be a comfortable victory.

I hope they do it as well. If sides like Crawley, Fleetwood and FGR continue to be successful with their unsustainable models then it'll just encourage other non-league clubs to do the same. If Grimsby were to lose, as an Imp, it would still raise a smile...but FISH, #thistownknows and all that.

I almost want Forest Green to win just to see the unreal banter that will unfold on here afterwards.

Just not confident at all. If we happen to lose, I'll probably give this section of the forum a miss for a week or two. It doesn't bare thinking about the consequences of losing.

Just been down Wembley Way. It'd gone midnight and I stood at the end of the path staring up at the arch absolutely pissed out my face. Everything around me evaporated and all I saw was Grimsby Town in the Football League. I've done this everytime we've made it to the new Wembley and this time felt different. I feel no malice towards FGR or anything of the sort but for some reason, now, it feels like we're already there. Come tomorrow evening we'll be celebrating a victory we already foresaw or we'll be mourning a loss that will haunt us for many years to come. Forest Green will challenge the top next year but we won't. It is now or never. It has to be now. I've spent 15 years supporting Grimsby and I've never had a means to celebrate, until tomorrow.

Come the fuck on Town. Please.

No fucking it up this time Grimsby, the stakes are too high. I'll settle for nothing less than a 4-0 humiliation for the creepy bastards. We can't have shit like them in the Football League.:bdick:

Hope FGR win it only because I don't like them and don't want them in this league. It's just a pity that they weren't going out in the other direction. I don't like them because they employ bully-boy security men like Bromley and Torquay.

Rooting for Grimsby today, proper football club that has been out of the league for far too long.

Have some good memories of playing Grimsby in the 90s and early 00s and they gave us Clive Mendonca. Good luck lads.

Setting off for Wembley in the next couple of hours, for what will be my first visit to the new stadium, the sun is shining and all is good in the World. I'm not one for bigging up my team or trashing the opposition, I just hope that whoever does win today deserves to do so and the game is talked about for the right reasons. To anyone who is going to the game, enjoy your day, have one made from memories and not regrets.

All the best to our opponents...but from me it is a loud and proud...Come on you Rovers!

Thankfully I've caught a virus so today will be more a case of lasting the day than it will actually stressing about the match, what timing, what bloody timing.

I cannot stress enough how important this match is to the club, it's bigger than anything we've faced before IMO. Our club hinges on getting there. So one last effort boys, I cannot bare the thought of losing to Forest Green FFS.

Looking forward to later. Will be cheering on the Cod Heads. They have suffered enough and deserve to be back in the league.

By the way who decided to play the final today, when its going to clash with the Premier League final day? Ridiculous decision.
