2-0 win for the Fleet in a tight game in front of a (current) capacity crowd of 2363. Have to say was pretty impressed with Ebbsfleet - strong, well drilled and plenty of quality from front to back.

I've been impressed with how magnanimous you lot have been in defeat. Fair play.

Will there be highlights of the game?

We're just settling in. Give it a few games and we'll be banging on about winning the league by Christmas and how our massive away support is keeping all you tinpotters afloat ;) .

Sadly no highlights out of us til the National League highlights program gets off the ground, our in-house highlights team chucked it in at the end of last season.

Isnt the National League Highlights program only for the Premier?

^ This. Must've been wishful thinking on my part!

In which case you shouldn't expect to see any action from the Gallagher through the season.

Wealdstone 0-1 Eastbourne Borough (Att: 581)

Absolutely fuming at that gutless performance! Eastbourne were beyond terrible as well but scored in the 94th minute. Dire match played between two relegation certs.

I dread to think how many Margate and Ebbsfleet will put past us this week.

Today was absolutely dire....Both teams were shockingly bad, neither keeper really tested & the one shot on target was the game winner

If we play as bad on Tuesday as we did today, i dread to think how many Hemel will put past us :conf:

Back to back home defeats? Should make our forum a giggle to read. Was a poor game but we can have no real complaints. Fingers crossed for better mid-week before we pick up the losing habit.

Drew 2-2 at Dartford. So far it's played 3 won 1 drawn 1 lost 1, with 4 goals scored and 4 conceded, giving us 4 points

3 wins from 3. 5 goals and 0 conceded. All while not at our best - can't complain!!

Didn't go today so can't comment but going by comments on Twitter and our forum, it sounds like we were average and ground out the win! I'll take it.

Weston at home on Tuesday. Hopefully make it 4 from 4.

We seem to enjoy a last minute goal at Wealdstone. Doesn't sound like it was a great performance today, but after losing our first two games I'll take a result over a performance.

Hopefully with a win under our belt we can now push on, starting with St Albans on Tuesday.

It's not just at our place, remember PhantomGate last year?

From reading the Nomads forum this morning it's good to see Sutton are also just as critical of the same jobsworth referee we had on Saturday.

Like all fans, Sutton fans love a good ref based moan. But last night's must have been special to have gotten the vitorl that has been dished out. (I can't comment, due to not having been there)

Still not beaten Truro at home, after 3 attempts

So do we, but even I lost it at the referee on Saturday.

Away at Margate tonight, we'll lose and I'm going for my sins.

We were 2 up and the while ground went dark. Fuck sake.

Looking to replay it next week. Hope we pay Weston's expenses.

I'll let somebody else add that to the tinpot thread...

Margate 0-0 Wealdstone (Att: 677)

I've just got in. Immediate thoughts.... well Josh Urquhart and Matt Ball were very good for us however there's still a lot of mediocrity in the side and being honest we were very lucky to escape with a point tonight.

Having said that Connor Calcutt missed a 1 on 1 early on after some lovely passing football split the 'Gate defence. They then hit the woodwork 3 times in the 1st half as no outlet and/or width meant they applied constant (if not always serious) pressure on us.

2nd half was much of the same although Jefferson Louis had a headed goal disallowed for what I assume was a push. If so then it was very harsh (highlights may change my opinion). A more clinical team would have beaten us with ease, so we welcome Ebbsfleet to The Vale on Saturday. Greaaaatttt......

Poor away following from the Stones tonight, I headcounted 43 in the 2nd half however there could have been more sat in the stand. Margate's JCL's made me chuckle, started off the 2nd half singing pro-Gate songs and I thought good on them but very quickly it turned to the typically childish anti-Wealdstone nonsense. Will we see them at The Vale? I highly doubt it.

UTS!

Depends on when you last visited. Since my visit in April 2014 they've added a food outlet and a poor man's attempt at Whitehawk's temporary seating. They have upgraded their car park as well.

Annoying. We finally broke through Weston's double decker bus with two goals in two minutes and it would have been a rout.

Unfortunately when the electrics go down it isn't a quick fix. The ref called time about half 9 I think so he gave it nearly an hour, and all four floodlights (three were on at the time) were fully functioning at 9.45.

We go again. Free admission when it is replayed, which is a touch as there's no way I was paying £11 again when I will have to be up at 4am.

Hemel 0 Stones 1. One in the eye for the doom merchants following back to back home defeats. Lucky to survive a first 15 that saw Hemel well on top. Stones came out much stronger at the start of the second with Jay May converting when left completely unmarked.

Those doom merchants need their collective heads tested. The only time we were genuinely poor was against Oxford and even then we didn't really deserve a loss. We'll be upper mid table, just where I thought.

Eastbourne 1-0 St Albans.

A much improved performance from our first home game against Maidenhead. Moved the ball around nicely and apart from the last 5 minutes where St Albans put a bit of pressure on, we were in total control of the game and never looked like conceding. Need to be more ruthless in front of goal though as we had so many chances, but only got the one goal. Better teams will punish us for wasting the number of chances we did last night.

Dover beat Concord with two goals in the last five minutes. Concord playing better this year though and putting up a fight against stronger teams. Hope they can make the play-offs this year.

Dartford, not Dover. Easily confused, I know.

Sorry bud. Hadn't checked the forum until now.

Unfortunately not. Working every weekend at the moment so can only do home games and midweek. Hoping it changes but I'll have to see!

I sent you a tweet not so long ago asking about the game!
