12/1 for Gate is tempting, that's for sure. We're at the same price and I don't see us troubling the top.

Maidenhead at 80/1 are ridiculously long odds. Definitely whacking a fiver on that E/W when I get home from work.

Betway have got us spot on at 25/1 imo.

We beat VCD 3-1 tonight. Very good run out and good to see us actually getting the ball on the deck and passing it. John - Paul Kissock is immense. Really instrumental going forward and not afraid to stick a foot in. Was impressed with what I saw tonight. Can't make it to Welling on Saturday I don't think, but will be at Tonbridge Angels next Tuesday.

We've signed Elliott Romain from Lewes. Be interesting to see if he can make the step up from ryman, as most Lewes fans seem to rate him.

Basingstoke are so short, they fluked it last year and I can confidently say that they will be mid-table at best next season.

Beat Welling away 3-2. Didn't go but, apart from a 20 minute spell in the second half, sounds like we played well again and there is plenty of positives to take forward. Another two goals for Jordan Parkes to add to his goal he got in Portugal, let's hope he carries this on into the season...

So far, so good. Tonbridge Angels away on Tuesday.

3-1 wins at both Sevenoaks and Beckenham in recent days. I wasn't there soooo no idea how things went. I dont usually bother with preseason games.

You heard anything regards to ticketing for the game at your place yet?

James Hammond has left the club. I really do question GB's decisions at times because this one seems mind-boggling, sure he has his bad moments but he's a competent defender, as shown when he was playing last season. Apparently he was playing for Concord yesterday.

We lost 2-0 at home to Dover yesterday, all doom and gloom on our forum already. Connor Calcutt was at the ground yesterday however so that is good news if we can sign him.

See George Porter came on as a trialist second half for Welling. Did wonder where he would turn up after his disappearing act towards the back end of last season.

Tuesday evening fixture, people still away on holiday and the capacity *should* be up to 3000ish. But no, haven't heard anything yet. Should imagine if we are forced to go down the ticketing route you'd get a fair number anyway, we gave Margate 500 ffs.

Beat Jersey 3-0 away with goals from Stuart Fleetwood, Glen Southam, and Jamie Collins. Next is Welling on Saturday, will be my first chance to see us in action

Will still be big interest from both sides. We would probably have up to a thousand if allowed it, similar to what we get when we play Dartford. I for one hope it is segregated, just hope it's easy enough to get tickets our end. We don't always do things simply!

I do prefer segregation to be fair. Hopefully ticket details for our game are released soon, only three weeks away.
Seems your only gonna get 250 tickets :conf:

http://www.maidstoneunited.co.uk/2015/07/first-home-game-goes-all-ticket/

We apparently informed the conference months ago that the ground expansion wouldnt be finished by beginning of the season & asked for any Kent derbies to be played after October.......they didnt listen so now we ended up with this situation

Normally you would of been given 5-600

Tinpot. Best get in quick then Joe. Doubt that allocation even covers your own season ticket holders.

Minusing our own season ticket holders leaves just another 1000 for fan club members (a priority ticketing scheme) and for general sale. Shafted ourselves out of additional revenue there.

On the plus side with just 250 of you there won't be long queues for a pint or the bogs. Silver linings and all that.

I think plenty of Fleet fans can just go in with our lot should they be unable to get a ticket for the segregated section. There'll be plenty more than 250 of their fans in, that's for sure.

Very much doubt that

Ebbsfleet fans wont get a chance with tickets going on ''general sale'' 1st of August at the Hendon game

I just hope Ebbsfleet dont take this personal & only give us 250 tickets when we play them away :(

No chance of that.

You'll be given the whole away end which is something like 950 I think. Could be wrong though... could be more.

Gutted by this. Have a feeling it's going to be season ticket holders only and, due to hours being low at work the past few weeks, I can't get one.

Does that mean we're going to be given a capacity of 5-600 for our segregated match in November?

When we receive the tickets from you lot that will go on sale one evening next week to season ticket holders (one per person - we have between 250 and 300 I believe). Any that are left over I'd imagine will just be first come first served.

Might buy a season ticket just in case. If I can borrow some money that is! Going to be manic when it goes to general sale I suspect.

Saw us draw 0-0 with Welling on Saturday. Not the greatest of games, but we looked capable for the most part. The 3G pitch looked great, actually forgot it wasn't real grass during the match.

Filthy bobbin scum away tonight to open their 3G pitch. Their 3G woes amuse me. For all that is good and wholesome we need to win. However we'll be playing a fringe team, so we have a ready made excuse.
