Just a thought (Rare spark mind you, nothing earthshattering, us Vegans know when a spark takes place, could lead to spontaneous combustion) But would it help for Right backs to be listed? When only seen once or twice a season (Or 4 for play offs) its hard to remember who plays where, just remembering who is enough for some..

Thats fine by me. If anybody has the time to compile a list then by all means go for it.

Sam Magri. Tait didn't shine for Grimsby reserves in their game at Prenton Park and didn't go to the reverse match so hard to comment.

I have cut and pasted my observations about Dale Bennett in the season review below.

Worst opposition player - Dale Bennett. Booked for time wasting in the first 15 minutes, took out Jake Kirby with an elbow, the spineless John Busby didn't even book him, could have been a straight red. Did nothing positive all game. Very surprised as he'd attracted some plaudits on here.

Tait ....
... but I would genuinely say Dale Bennett is one of only 2 of our players I think you could consider good and consistent enough to definitely make the team of the season (Elliot Frear, LM, being the other; although he always seems to run out of steam towards the end of the season).

On the comment above, Dale definitely has an edge which he need to learn to control, but the timing wasting yellow was rubbish, he just kicked the ball in frustration because he's miscontrolled it over the sideline.

Early days.

Look Out There Are Llama's hasn't voted yet.

Yeah, this is an easy vote, Dale Bennett, Forest Green Rovers. Twice the player of Magri IMO, would walk into any League Two team bar Oxford probably (although I haven't actually seen Baldock). Every time I've seen him he's been genuinely class.

(Although for left wing as much as I love a bit of Frear, Payne trumps him at LM/ LW)

Dale Bennett was genuinely awful against us in February, and couldn't handle our winger. Although, if it was a competition for the league's biggest whinger, he would be a shoo-in...

Conversely, if a player is worth voting for, you'd likely remember him.

Yeah I can barely think of any right backs, let alone one that stood out. I will vote for Dale Bennett purely because I've see him more than any other RB (bar our own) and he's not stood out as being bad. (You're welcome FGR fans).

Sam Magri of Dover, he was the best RB we saw last season

Rules are we can't vote for our own players, so I can't nominate young Magri or I most certainly would he has been superb in his absence and after watching him twice last week I will opt for Bennett at FGR

None better than Dale Bennett in my opinion.

Not voting for Tait for the sole reason that he was referred to as "Taiter" earlier in the thread.

Not a position that stood out for me this year. Bennett isnt bad but because I can't with good conscience vote for a FGR player I vote for The Taitinator

Who does he play for?

Grimsbeh. I'd vote for him also but we can't (just so we know, I would if I could). So as I can't (even though I'd like to), I'll vote for no one.

If I could I would vote for Sam Magri - improved no end this season and has developed into an exceptional young player. Definitely one to look out for in the future.

As I'm not allowed to vote for him, I'll abstain because I honestly can't think of a right back who has stood out this season. Proves what Jamie Carragher said about the position.

Sam Magri

I know what a good player Taity is, but my vote goes to Sam Magri. I was very impressed by the lad in the play off semis, and I'm pretty sure he'll go on to play in the FL. A very bright prospect indeed.

Tait for me too, simply because Bennett was awful against us twice and should have been sent off in the game at TNL for a horrible two footed lunge on Charlie Walker early in the game.

You put Taity in bold before Magri, so sorry we have to accept your first answer!

I'm surprised you lot know so many other teams' players, I only know the odd few from each team!

Probably doesn't help that at most games I'm pissed so have no idea what's going on

Then just go along with the other Woking fans that know their stuff (cough Bennett cough). You know it makes sense. I'll even vote for Caprice if you do.

No one with shitty nicknames like Taiter or the Taitonator can be allowed to win this.

I think The Taitmaister should win this one.

If you're going down that route, shouldn't it be TAITMEISTER?

My personal choice for his nickname would be Dale Bennett. If everyone voting for Tait would kindly adhere to that nickname when casting their vote from now on please?
