Need for Speed (PS4)

Just ordered this game, anyone who has played it know if it's any good? I don't play online much so was looking for a decent racing game for single player.

The last need for speed I played was awful, not like the original ones which were quite enjoyable. Have you tried Gran Turismo?

Not played it since ps1 days, can you get Gran Turismo on ps4?

Sorry for the really late reply...

It seems alright, decent enough racing game but cant really justify paying £40 for it. Then again it has a large online community that it is probably more suited to, but I've only played it single player.

Pros:

• Decent amount of cars available, and a wide range of customization to vehicles gives it a classic NFS approach, similar to playings NFS Underground 2 back in the day.
• Nice game play, easy to get used to without really ever playing the franchise before.

Cons:

• The game feels it repeats itself, just doing the same races over and over, not much variety
• It feels way too easy, the races are listed in 'easy', 'medium' and 'hard' categories, but even the hard races don't really challenge you. You can even get the best car in the game fairly early on into the career mode if you keep earning money on the races, which only makes the game even more less challenging.
• Probably being pedantic here, but not a fan of only playing in night. Every 10-15 minutes the sky turns to Dawn, but only for about 30 seconds and goes back to being night again and the cycle repeats itself.

Probably would give it a 6/10 overall.
