I imagine it will result in a lot of fans using VPNs, assuming there will still be matches broadcast for international viewers.

Cant see Sky showing the likes of us very often, unless we're playing Wrexham, Charlton, Reading, Wendies or Birmingham. The broadcasters are only interested in the "big" ex-Prem clubs and the likes of Salford and Wrexham.

It says they are committed to 'greater parity'
I'd rather not be on, quite like the 3pm games.

I think the Salford bubble has burst.

I wouldn't include us in that unless we are near the top of the table. We get very little media coverage.
Beat De Zerbi's Brighton in the cup last year and it barely got a mention. Then our cup quarter final vs Man U wasn't picked up for tv. Imagine that a Man U cup game not on tv!!

On a purely selfish note, I welcome it. I would much rather watch the league we are in than the Prem which is practically impossible at the moment as we all play at the same time and not on tv. The promotion and relegation push right now is really exciting and it's a bit of a shame I can't really access any of it.

Moving our home games won't impact me too much as I can be pretty flexible on the weekend to get to games but it's obviously going to be a nightmare for many away fans over the course of the season.

I mean I guess its good news right? More money for the clubs in the EFL and greater exposure which is way overdue. It was pathetic the level of coverage L1 & 2 got, non league had way more televised action on TNT.

The only concern is what time slots they provide seeing as the 3pm blackout remains. Carlisle and Fleetwood seem like two long journeys which are going to be removed, but wouldn't fancy an early kick off against Blackpool or Exeter.

Overall I take this as a positive, be interesting to know how much it was worth for each club. As someone mentioned, id rather watch a L1 game than most prem games anyway, atlhough I will still watch using a VPN when necessary.

Sky haven’t shown Wrexham anymore than anyone else this season in fairness. BBC jumped on the bandwagon in the FA Cup though.

It will just mean more inconvenience for match going fans . The standard of football won't go up but the players wages will. Attendances will eventually go down and to me the atmosphere makes the game so the game will be worse off.

Will never subscribe to Sky anyway but TV games should be allowed to be at 3.00 pm on a Saturday. If matchday prices weren't so ridiculous you would go anyway even if it was on TV. £35 for tomorrow against Portsmouth.
In view of this extra money clubs really do need to rethink their position on matchday prices but they won't.

They will keep charging it as long as people keep going. And they will justify it by saying do you want tickets for £20, or do you want a team that will get you promoted....

Another pro is that before the start of the season all the televised games until January will be announced, avoiding the problems of some of the prem clubs face with late changes

That is handy.

Apparently people have said they can still steam games with a fire stick but yes the of fans (domestic ones anyway ) watching their team at 3pm from the living room .

It's an increase in money but relative to the amount of games shown it's a worse deal I think? We all know what happens anyway - more money for more wages. It's the same cycle every time.

Let's hope there's some sensible scheduling as well, it's no good selecting Carlisle for a 12.30pm Saturday KO at Cheltenham or something.

As Jord points out though, at least it'll give more exposure to L1 and L2.

Most of the efl clubs are currently on i-follow. If you register get full match and highlights next day, free.
Does anyone know whether this will continue with the sky deal.
