But curiosity takes hold. I click in, I feel compelled to read on the off chance that someone has posted something worthwhile (I supose I'll never learn). If I can't see it, that disappears.

Whilst I don't suffer from OCD to any degree that I'm aware, I find it very hard to not click on a thread when the notifications tell me something new has been posted in a thread I've viewed recently. It's weirdly addictive... Perhaps that's the idea!

What's happening with the Prediction League?

It's certainly returning, I think Saddlerrad is just considering whether to run two half season competitions or keep the format the sam.

Prediction league will be exactly the same as last year in format, except - it'l be run in 2 split seasons, with half the prizes. It's so that when 50 people start, they don't get bored and give up halfway through the season. Keeps it interesting and means it will be used properly.
