Hello.
I've gotten permission from the admins to post this. I want to open my own forums based on my club, Universitario de Deportes. I decided to do this because there are literally none on the web. I will need your help though as last time I opened my own forums, I hardly had any help on my side and thought everything was money driven.
Anyways here are a few things I will need help on.
1. Forum Software
I am basically ready to use IPB once again, however there may be some other softwares that interest me. I was thinking IPB, Xenforo and vbulletin, and while I prefer IPB because you don't have to pay the whole plan at once, it would be nice to know the pros and cons of each different forum software.
2. Tech or IT expert
I know fuck all about this stuff, or SEO and I simply don't have the time anymore to learn about (I do in august but I'm enjoying time with my family here in Peru) if anyone could help out in this department, it would be highly appreciated.
3. A spanish pack
My last forum was intended to be a South American football forum before I changed it to a general english speaking forum. If anyone knows where I can find one depending on the forum software, it would be highly appreciated however this is a minor issue that I can deal with myself. Just posting it in case anyone finds one.
4. A name
I need names for my forum. I'm absolutely terrible with names. Give me a good forum name and I will translate it into spanish when the forum goes up for the first time.
5. A skin designer
My last skin designer was great and cheap so I may go ahead and use it again, however again if anyone can find one that is very good, I may use it.
Feel free to ask questions. I would love some help on this.
