If there's ever a centre forward stuck in a run of form whereby he can't hit a barn door, just line him up against Bournemouth. As always we're very nice and obliging! Be interesting to see if he goes on a run of form after that.
Thought Ibe had found his moment to rescue his reputation here, though on goal with the keeper, just 8 yards out, likely to equalise? Just slide it into the corner man. Nope, ok, just smash it into row Z why don't you. The guy may have talent in his boots, but he is completely brain dead.
Sounds like a horrible day all round, the defeat is meh - but the injuries are the bigger concern. Looks like Smith has done his knee in, realistically that ends his season, and that'll expose a lack of full backs at the club generally. Lerma has been oustanding so far, but will miss a few games with that hamstring. So we'll feel some pain from today for a long time.
