Newest one to add to the B2TF book of quotes that make him look stupid, Volume 12 book 25 page 145:

Pfft! Notts, Wrexham, Grimsby, Southend, Stockport all flailing the the mighty Shaymen's fart trail. :fl: :fl: :fl: :fl: :fl:

Right I’ve calmed down a bit so can try and dissect that game after being robbed of a point at the death..

Very strong performance from us today, and on another day we win that at a canter. Was up against a resilient Bromley in fairness who’s keeper had a blinder, and a referee that loved playing the pantomime villain in turning down a stone wall pen for us, giving them a soft pen, and topping it off by playing 6 minutes added time when there was barely any stoppages all game… and obviously Bromley went and scored in the 96th minute!

Watch out for Carlines goal on the highlights show tonight, an absolute thunderbolt into the top corner from 25 yard. Standouts for us today definitely Carline, Grimes and Miller, all three outstanding throughout but no one had a bad game.

10 points from 4 games is a good return, and now we’ve got a couple of away games on the bounce at Dover and then Woking that we should be looking to go and win. Onwards and upwards for us, but shame about Clarke’s hamstring injury as I reckon that’ll be him missing for 4-6 weeks now..
Bromley’s pen was nailed on Tbf I thought 5 minutes added on before they called 6 but you have to take the chances that come your way

Not impressed with Southend.

Failing to provide alcohol in the away end is very tinpot indeed.

when did we last? I've never known it to be a thing. Even if they did I would steer clear of all 'facilities' at Roots Hall. They were shit before the place was falling down, now I've got no idea how any of it gets certificates to pass as a useable stadium.
Hope you had a good day out otherwise.

Indeed.

£3 sausage, chips and curry sauce isn't to be sniffed at.

You go to the seaside, to a place called 'The Fish House' and you don't have fish?

I bet you order Scampi in an Indian restaurant.

Still winds me up Dover got a 12 point deduction. I need to get over it but what is the point. Will they even win a game?

Yes, please get over it, 1 less thing to think about.

How is our lad doing?
He has so much obvious talent. I'm not sure the style of play in today's game suited him but he worked hard and I really like the look of him. As someone who was born in Watford i'll always champion anyone of the Golden Boys :)

Great draw for us at Chesterfield. They failed to take their chances and paid the price. Full marks to the ref who didn't fall for the antics of the home side. Onwards and upwards.

Losing another midfielder to injury before the game cost us today, Wealdstone came for a point and went home with one but points won’t keep you up. Hopefully we get one of the two missing midfielders back next week. Ref today was atrocious, failed to play advantage numerous times and was giving some soft free kicks for both teams yet not punishing blatant fouls, strange.

Top after 4 games so we can’t grumble when play offs is the aim, big spenders dropping points is plus.

Grimsby fans getting very excited about a win over a 10 man team with no centre backs and a 17 year old from the local school in midfield.
I like you mate, but you can get to fuck with that comment. Find me a proper football fan in this country who isn't getting excited about winning a game 4-3 with an absolute pinger of a freekick in injury time. We also had a 21 year old who looks about 12 in the middle of the park all match too and we've scored 4 without a proper #9 up top.

Great start to the season for us. Hope you enjoyed that week of being above us B2TF :woo::bravo::69::woot::woot::woot::box::ds::ds::ds::ds::ds::ds::ds::ds::ds::ds::ds::ds:

Not surprised you were happy with the ref, he was your best player after all

Talking of refs when I picked my lad up he said ‘The ref was awful Dad, apart from giving us the 2 pens and sending their player off he gave us nothing’.

0-0 against Boring Wood who could have predicted that from Rusk ball…

How the hell were Grimsby involved in a 4-3 thriller?

How bad was the sending off/penalty - did it warrant what I presume was HK’s reaction to be sent off?

This again highlights HK’s tactical issues. He again could not do anything to alter the game to control it better/tighten up. I don’t care how ‘brave’ or good our performance may have been - you cannot lose from 3-1 down and think positively of it.

I am now officially in the HK out brigade.

Wealdstone keep it tight???
Didn't they concede nearly a century of goals last season?
About as tight as a prostitutes chuff.
Not sure your an expert on defences 7 goals in 2 games. I hope you have better luck with prostitutes
