Good to see the game attracting so much interest from your side, be warned our club clamped down quite heavily on Bristol Rovers fans attempting to get tickets in the home areas last season, so I wouldn't advertise the fact that some are buying in the home end. Don't want more tickets ripped up. ;)

Personally can't see a problem with fans mixing anyway, unless those who are buying in the home areas are actively looking for trouble. There has never been any animosity between the clubs and a lot of our fans have mates and or colleagues who are Robins fans.

The only likely thing that might happen would be for you to get the West Terrace, but as Greenacres says that would involve chucking out regulars from it. Unless you can actually sell around 1000 more it's not worth giving you it imo.

6000 home fans there yesterday, you would definitely bring more than your allocation will allow but no chance would you bring over 4000.
I agree with this, as said on the matchday forum. Our travelling support to relatively local games in the last couple of years [thinking Shrewbury, Crewe, Accrington etc] has been about 8-900, while we took 1.5k to Altrincham recently. If unlimited tickets were avaialble, I'd be surprised if we took many more than 3k to the Deva.
However, might the fact that so many Chester fans showed up yesterday, despite their view that Wrexham are their main rivals be significant? Could the inter-Welsh rivalry be supplanted by a West Cheshire one, which has lain dormant while the sides have been in different leagues?

The game isn't even the next game or the game after that so why has a thread been started? If you want to talk about tickets sold you might as well use the away supporters thread. It's also not going to be popular enough game with people on the forum to warrant it's own thread

Done. :)

No need for match threads about single games regardless if its a local derby.

Over 800 tickets sold for southport on Tuesday, will definitely take over 1000, hopefully nearer 1500, especially after yesterday's result.

100 tickets left for southport now, looks like it will sell out. Not sure how many we've been given though.

Sold out now. Not sure how many that is, but I believe it's between 1,400 and 1,500. Let's hope we do better than the last time we took over a thousand away... ;)

Confirmed today that we've sold out the 897 tickets that FGR have allocated us. Absolutely no chance of anymore though.

The number of standing tickets I'm not bothered about, but 42 seating tickets is a joke. A single block of their one stand must be more than 42 seats.

Oh well, I have my ticket.

Can only apologise really, once again our club, possibly in conjunction with the police, are making a meal out of something which didn't need to be a problem. Giving you 42 seats should go in the tinpot thread, especially if it's true that they are being installed in the North stand. We aren't going to sell out, so why we couldn't have given you the block (A) that away fans usually get in the main stand I don't know.

Hope your fans realise this is just a few people at the top organising this, the majority of us would not have a problem with you getting more tickets and you'll be given a friendly welcome.

Won't be many Imps at Barrow tonight. Reading our forum, as of Saturday there were only 18 booked onto the supporters coach!

10/11 hours on the supporters coach is no longer my idea of fun especially when you know how goes on it!

Aye supporters bus not my idea of fun. Used to use it when I was a teen and had no other way of getting to the game and it was always fairly cheap. Still the same crowd that use the official coach, some strange folk among them !

I reckon with people travelling under their own steam we should have maybe 70-100 there tonight which is a decent enough effort for a 8-9 hour round trip on a Tuesday night.

It's clear the two boards don't get along. Baker has been quite vocal at fans' forums about how much money you guys spend in comparison to your gates, etc... Funnily enough, an extra 200 seats would have been enough. I doubt very much we'd bring more than 1100, even if we are second by the time we meet. What it does mean is that, for only the second time since I started supporting the club we will have CTFC fans in the home ends.

Pretty certain don't pay either, used to go on them regularly myself for long away trips in the 90s and a bit in the 00s.
