Fair few angry at the Notts County ticketing system. Reports of people not being able to access their basket after buying tickets and them going on sale 15 minutes early.

1200 tickets gone in no time, hopefully we'll get more. The demand will be at least 3x that.

Just to add, I'm sorted so I'm not arsed.

It's the same ticket system we use and it's caused no end of problems, probably from the clubs themselves.

Only reason you wouldn’t get a lot more is Covid stuff, dunno why we do the weird releasing then slowly thing, was the same with Stockport. Probably makes it easier to plan for stewarding or something.

Just spoken to tickets office Notts County..system is just overwhelmed as so many Wrexham fans want tickets. I can't even get past the registration phase (like many others) He said be patient! As other tickets will be released as stand holds 5000

Yeah, I think your fans are unnecessarily panicking, everyone who wants a ticket should get one for this, we just release them a bit at a time. We don’t need a particularly good ticketing system in terms of handling traffic for obvious big-and-usually-empty ground reasons.

Only spanner might be that I guess we could decide to restrict you to like 2.5k or something because we want to keep the overall crowd below 10k.

It's difficult to judge but it seems that everyone is saying they are going to it. Stories of a dozen coaches already booked and up wards of 3000+ going.
I have booked a hotel for the Mrs and I so hopefully will get a ticket

We’ve released a ‘further and final’ 300, weird. Not sure what we’re playing at, presumably restricting our capacity for Covid passport reasons and not playing dirty for more home advantage.

Managed to get my ticket so pleased. Noticed there are loads of seats left in the home end

There’s always loads of seats left in the home end haha. No one at our end will have even thought about needing to sort tickets for this one yet.

So is that 1500 total for Wrexham fans?
Shame, I can understand why you would do it but you could probably sell double that....

It wouldn’t hugely surprise me if you get some more closer to the time if it looks like home sales aren’t going to reach 8,499… think it’s pretty clear we’ve decided we don’t want to do the checks.

There will be risk that some of the home tickets won't go to home fans

Not really sure what we’re thinking tbh, we could give you another 1,000 and still not worry about the 10,000 thing IMO. Obviously we got a huge crowd when it was cheap, but the 6,000 home fans for the Stockport game would be a more realistic comparison for this. Maybe some more because of the time of year, but 7,000 max.

I’d expect 6-7k home fans for this, more if we were top 2, so yeah I guess that may well be it

Some absolutely fuming Wrexham fans on Twitter at not getting a ticket for it. I reckon you’ve massively fucked up by just leaving it to us to sell them when we told you the allocation, surely the club must’ve known there was massive demand for it? We always sell away tickets to members/season ticket holders first even when we’re never going to sell out.

We're shite at selling tickets too. Those moaning didn't want them enough in the first place to be honest.

Alty away tickets were ridiculous, we put them on sale in the morning without any warning so those working nights had no chance. I got mine for that but could understand why people were fuming. For Notts it just seems a bit daft that people are moaning as everyone who wants one will surely eventually get one.

I'm sure there are issues but some of our fans just seem incapable at using online ticketing systems. Moan moan moan is all you get.

As Grimsby at Halifax and Wrexham at Notts are both being shafted by not getting enough tickets I think just stick another 5000 on to both of our away averages.
Cheers.

Careful what you say about Halifax, you know who might take it the wrong way

Football fans been kept in the dark by football clubs What is new?
Just a little bit of honesty would have helped..Surely you won't be selling more than 7000 home tickets? Leaving 2500 for Wrexham fans keeping you below 10000. Releasing tickets in drips and drabs is pointless and the whole situation could have been avoidable with some forward planning and good communication

Don't know what's happened to this division since we were last down but getting away tickets has become an absolute pain in the arse. Lack of clear instructions, heavily restricted allocations when there an loads of empty home seats, clubs changing their mind about whether or not it's pay on the day, etc.
Anyone here been to Weymouth? What's it like?
We've got them on my birthday weekend, definitely gonna be going for a few days. Hopefully the match will have something riding on it for us.

All I can do then is guess it's something on Alty's end, and related to their council/capacity problems
Yes it was. Basically council inspected the ground when we started having bigger crowds (having passed it in Sept all clear) and found some defects in some terracing and werent happy with stewarding.

Its all now fixed and new load of bolshy stewards employed and capacity going back to where it was,.. almost normal for Wrexham and Stockport etc.

Weymouth the town is lovely.
The ground is one of the first ever new builds (1987) and is not ageing well. It‘s also a long way from the seafront.
