I think about 6-6.5k home fans. We’ve dropped to eighth, albeit through mostly not playing, and Grimsby are even lower. I think if we were both top 4 it would be more like you suggest, and if we go on another run before we play you, and you bring 2.5k/3, I think that one will be 10k+. Unless BT get their greedy mitts on it, of course.

It’s one of the reasons we stopped pay on the day, I think. There’s been a few examples of clubs massively overestimating their away support and leaving us with loads of food to chuck etc.

But why would a club do that? Just send the unsold tickets back. This is the one away game in the season where people could plan for a day out in a group of mates, some might not be regular fans, on a Saturday 3 pm KO, as it should be. I'm in group of 7, it was 9 but 2 have COVID. We also do the rugby at Leicester for one or two games a season, TV scheduling sometimes messes up plans but of course sorting tickets, pubs, watching the game holding a pint is easy. For football it's a pain the arse trying to organise.

Haha I remember at Southport in 2015/16 I spent the whole of half time queueing up to get a burger and then the guy before me bought the last one and I was fucking livid!

We’ve a good record against big followings this season (well, Wrexham (2k) and Stockport (1600). Plus Southend brought nearly a thousand), so hoping this continues!

The extra 500 went on sale today at 10am and was gone by about 11am and there's already a healthy reserve list for any drop outs by all accounts.

Our form is alright in our big away followings, 7 points from 12 in the 4x 4 figure followings so far (Stockport draw, Alty and Woking wins, loss at Halifax).

Really looking forward to it, regardless of any ticket chat, it'll be a decent crowd like you say. Bit worried my seat is gonna be tucked away in the corner though. Row X of Block Z3 (which is the final block). Should be able to get a decent picture of the following if that's the case, I guess.

Yep we got there and went straight into a working men’s club right next to the ground and were drinking in there until about 10 minutes before kick off, I was ravenous by half time,

The additional 500 Notts sent us have sold out in an hour so 2,500 sold in total. They've probably missed out on a bit of money by not sending us more. Will be too late for a 3rd batch I guess.

It’s been done weird, 1200 went on sale for everyone behind the goal then 700 for elderly and families only down the side which seems weird way of doing things.

Think we did the same to Bolton and that is what made it cut short as a full house because they didn't sell those two blocks. If you lads can get it all filled, it'll be pretty much a full house.

Absolutely bizarre from us. Don't even know when they started that stupid rule. You could argue it's discriminatory. And what counts as a family? Family of four? Dad and his son?
