We find out if we can finally start building our new 21,700 all seater stadium with in a month or two.. Hoping this is the final hurdle

What are your chances for it being given the go ahead, do you reckon?

I'm confident. So many times we've got the go ahead and something else pops up! Promotion and good news about our stadium could be the kick start we need to get our club back on track

I would say definitely and put the figure in the range of 100-150, based on what was in the corner of the Wet Terrace and the Main Stand. Oh, and I saw the bloke who appeared on the most tinpot thread with the half and half Gas/FGR t-shirt....bizarre!

Final away averages of the season below, sorry that they've taken so long. Any help with the missing figures highlighted in red would be much appreciated.

Nice one Cardsfan.

By the way, Nuneaton's twitter said about 50 of them here last week.

Apologies if ive missed someone, but are we the only club apart from Bristol Rovers and Grimsby to have had at least 100 at every away game? If so thats a top achievement given our season!

Also 228 average away from a 1750ish average home attendance is very good too imo!

Well except from Southport, where you had 61.

17.1% of home fans travelling looks a superb effort considering the distances involved. However, I think this is a case of lies damn lies and statistics. GTFC are former fairly big club in an area declining population and, IMHO, this stat is a reflection of the size of the Lincs diaspora and continued loyalty and goodwill towards the club from those that have left the area. Illustration - more tickets were sold to Gy fans by Eastleigh than by GTFC.

If I'm reading your grid correctly it says that Aldershot had 120 at Southport!
Official figure was 61 but they forced me to edit it to 120 because there were OBVIOUSLY 60 in unsegregated seats ;)

And looking at Braintree, they didn't a single away attendeance over 100. Should be thrown out for that alone.

Ahhh, the old Southport connundrum. Fucking shambles that club is the way they dealt with us that night. When we got there we had to go in the unsegregeted seats, but when they saw there was more than 10 of us they decided to open the terrace. We requested a refund of the price difference because we were only given the seats but they basically told us to fuck off.

Didn't get figures for Braintree's games at Dartford/Welling/Dover so their average might have been a little higher if they'd been estimated (although maybe still not over 100)

In that case can our Southport following be raised to 1,000+ then please? ;)

For a price ;)
Maybe as we're local we had a different arrangement but we were completely segregated there, even in the seats, away turnstiles and all that and we packed out that end block of seats. Yet last season I remember the same moans from Luton about not getting a correct figure.

Yep they were a shambles, but I suppose the were'nt expecting more than 50 on a Tuesday night, even though the club told them we would bring between 100 and 150. Hopefully next season we won't play them midweek.

They were a credit to their club to be honest, as the game went away from them they actually started singing more, even though i couldn't hear them as it was deafening in the Ponny, you could see they were singing non stop.
Really good effort from them.

Wow.
Figures seem to have took a tumble at the top since we was in the league, although I suppose Mansfield, Luton, Newport, Cambridge etc would of been top end. Cannot believe third is only 327!
