Non-League End of Season Awards

Apparently, these run every year and I've just seen them mentioned in the League 2 Forum and was wondering if anyone's interested in running them (I probably shouldn't because I'm too new). That being said, if nobody is interested I don't mind doing it.

Fuck it, if no-one else can be arsed I'll do it. Just need to finalise the awards and then I'll start taking PM's, here's a list off the top of my head (and from other sections) - feel free to add any I missed and if someone could try and find past awards by cache that would be great.

Right, the list seems done and dusted so I'm going to set the deadline for 12 PM Sunday 26th April. Anyone can vote no matter who they support, and you don't have to vote for every category. You may vote 2 people for one award, and they will receive half a vote each. You've got just under 3 weeks, as many people as possible get your votes in by PM to me please.

We actually had it before. I know because I was nominated for it! (think Alty won) Might have been a while back that we last ran that one though, I was certainly posting for the old club at the time (might have been the season we went under, or even the one before).

Edit: The only one not on there that I know we used to use is "Biggest WUM", which I think is both a silly award to give out, potentially rewarding "wumming" as it was referred to. Rather run without it!

Old rules were always vote for as many or few categories as you like, but more votes is generally better.

I think it's not going to be too hard. A long open period for voting. No need to rush it. Go until after the playoff final! Not like we're bursting with information once the season has finished!

Did agree to do it last year but didn't have the time in the end so Red Dragon the Newport fan took over.

I've seen it on other forums where for this section, they class it as fans of the new teams to the league. So Rovers, Torquay and the teams that got promoted etc

Nope, people who joined TFF after August or were new on here. A few candidates off the top of my head- Cardsfan, cant think of any others at the minute.

Normally someone posts a list of eligible posters for such an award. It sometimes got defined both ways with the logic of "new to NL section" though that would discount fans of teams promoted who were already here.
