No chance of this one being off so Accrington can play a game of football. Will be quite a good game I'd imagine, another big crowd expected for it and I can see us doing the job. Not so much need for rotation with boxing days game called off, 6 points from Accrington and then Barnet at home would be massive.

2-1 Cobblers.

That was a robbery from us. We has one shot on target! Fortunately for us that found the back of the net.

Really impressed with Stanley's play. Pressed us hard and caused a lot of problems, dislike their antics however, which were plentiful. A draw was the least they deserved. That being said we dug in, held on and continue our march to the top!

I thought we were watching Wycombe today, surrounding the (piss poor) ref, rolling around to get players booked and then getting up straight away after he's booked, time wasting from the 1st minute until we scored. That apart they looked a reasonable team, very impressed by Halliday and Crookes ?

They look a very good side, no need for the antics

I travelled down today - haven't had a home match since Nov 14th so its a change to see a match being played! I don't know how we didn't score today after so many shots (the same thing happened at Plymouth) - a complete contrast to last season when we won 5-4 and everything seemed to go in.
Looked like John Coleman was giving the 4th official some earache - he says he's calmed down a lot these days but it doesn't look that way!

Even though Northampton do ride their luck at times, they are winning games and that's all that matters come the end of the season.

Referee was shocking. Dished out yellow cards like confetti in the first half and then gave nothing in the second. As a ref you must know you've had a shocker when the home team win and you still get booed off!
Was also impressed with Stanley. Played with high tempo and moved the ball around very well. Windass difficult to pick up with his runs from deep. Were it not for Adam Smith in goal, Stanley could easily have won this game. The fixture backlog could be there undoing
