Looking forward to this massively. Not impossible this could be our last ever game! Our off the field issues are well documented but on the field the players continue to do the business so hopefully that will continue.

Mansfield have been one of the shocks of the season for me, expected them to be struggling again. I see Lee Collins has finally got in the side after Pearce got suspended, how has he performed? Still gutted he left, he was a firm favourite in my eyes.

Going for a 2-0 win for the Teyn in this one.

Last time some Stags fans ripped a few sponsor signs, could they possibly tear down the skeleton east stand this time instead?!

Another 90 minutes where the off the field problems fade to the background. Thank feck. Reckon we will take this win, 2-1 Town.

Collins has been outstanding since he got into the side, Unfortunate for him that he got injured in Pre Season as he was a first teamer but Taff who ended last season out of form has also been outstanding so far this season.

I hope we can take a point. We are good on the road but we don't win at any of the top sides in the league. Hoping this is the game where Green can take a chance and end his drought. Head says home win. Looking forward to it though.

Can you lot have another John Joe O'Toole day please?

Should be a good game, hopefully it works out for you guys however we have good away form and should be capable of getting a result here perhaps a draw

Murray strongly hinting at a 532 with him wanting Taff Pearce and Collins all to play.

Another game where we didn't score.

Didn't see that one coming...

We dominate the match but don't put in the back of the net. Seems to be our story recently.

Had our chances to make that more comfortable but didn't take them. Defended well to keep Mansfield out, sounds like Mansfield are crap in the final third. Up to third in the table, fingers crossed for a good week off the pitch!!

Yeah, decent elsewhere but struggling a bit upfront. Sounded like your defence was pretty good also though.

The way were playing limits our options from open play just now

First clean sheet in a while for us today, good we are showing resilience. Our commentators rated your mob, and reckon you'll be in the mix come the end of the year, FWIW

Marc Richards was always quality. We just either didn't play the right football or were awful when he was here, or both at the same time

Jesus we were shit, It's alright having most of the ball but we didn't have a single shot on target.

I guess it's relative, going to Northampton was always going to be a hard game, irrespective of the side we've got, and we never fare well there.

As said on stagsnet, I'd like green to start with yousif in a 442 or for Murray to bring in more of a target man for green to run onto - I'm troubled as to what westcarr brings to the table, he's neither the pacey forward that would compliment as fast flowing attacking pattern or the big effective hold up player either, him and green together simply don't work.

I'd quite like to see him experiment at Oldham and go 442 with green and yousif (my phone refuses to spell his name right) and see where it gets us, I think it would work well.

Can't see him ever going 442, He said Thursday night he wouldn't bring in s Rhead/Dyer type player either. Not sure why we have Beardsley then.

It's not like we don't attack, for the last 20/25 yesterday most of the game was spent on there half but we were getting crosses in, pumping balls into the box, we had about 8 corners and Northampton dealt with everything.

I'm not necessarily saying we have to go down the route rhead or dyer, that would be going backwards in my view, but there's plenty of players out there that could score goals and compliment green better than westcarr does, Beardsley hasn't been given a fair crack of the whip but I think that's more to do with that Murray found what most of us suspected - he's not Upto much.

It could all come good and we could be sat here in 10 days having beaten Oldham and got 2 solid home wins, I just think a loan player in would both freshen things up but also give the current players a kick up the backside. Green just needs a lucky break and he could be all guns blazing.

I trust adam wholeheartedly, but I just hope he doesn't fall into the trap of being like Cox in just picking the same formation and players all the time when things clearly need mixing up. I've no doubt we'll be seing a forward in during the January transfer window
