Seriously doubt we'll win 5-1 at Sixfields this year somehow. We really need something, but can't see us getting owt. Last two performances of ours I've seen (York and Cheltenham) have been two of the worst I've ever witnessed from us, so not expecting anything much better this time out. Hope Newport win on Friday!

Feeling very confident with this one, think we have won 5 on the spin at home and Tranmeres recent form looks pretty dire.

Marc Richards being out for 8 weeks is upsetting, needing everyone else to pick up the goalscoring in his absence (which to be fair has happened the last few weeks anyway).

Tranmere fans, curious why you let Evan Horwood go? Hes been fantastic for us all season, loves getting forward and has a great left peg! What happened?

Evan Horwood was half decent going forward and does possess a good left foot, up in division 1 the defensive side to his game was poor and he kept getting done time and time again.

In hindsight we should have kept him. Would rather have Horwood than Ridehalgh, although Taylor at left back seems a similar player.

We should be dropping Dugdale, Power and Jennings but I can't see Adams backing down and won't be surprised if we start the exact same side as did on Saturday. 2-0 to the home side.

I would certainly drop Dugdale, there are enough central defenders currently at the club to still play 3 central defenders. Maybe give Power a rest, but we don't really have a defensive midfielder to cover Jennings. Need to play Donnelly up front as a striker and start Laird.

Horwood's defensive frailties were why we got rid, though decent at set-pieces and going forward. Ridehalgh hasn't had a good season since returning from injury, Taylor would probably be more use further forward.

The Cobblers looked quite a decent side when narrowly losing at PP end of December and have got into a decent vein of form since. Can't see beyond a comfy home win here.

Exactly this. Need to win majority of our home games now to have any shout. As for Howrood, he isnt the best defender, but is tenacios enough in the tackle at this level to not have any real issues. Never looked at him and really feared he was gonna get targeted, he certainly is effective going forward though.

I can see us taking this 2 or 3-0.

Yep, that's what I accredited us as deserving a goal for. Save that, we hit the bar and that was it. Fonners kept it respectable, and I feel like I might have typed that a few other times recently...
