Congratulations on your three points Doncaster.

A great day as well considering it'll be the last we see of Haber, Fox and Inman at Gresty Road.

Expect a lot of anger Thursday Night when Dario goes on about us being stupid to question "his" way.

Every chance we will balls it up however I've a feeling we will win both our last games and be safe until Fleetwood score a 95th minute winner against Crewe.

Barring 2 unprecedented wins, Blackpool are as good as down. Even with 4 points they're relying on either of Chesterfield or Shrewsbury losing all their remaining games. Plus, Fleetwood are getting 3 points from us which will hurt those below them.

Donny are relying on snookers even if they win their last 2 against us and Burton. Fleetwood are beating us on the final day so no way will they finish below Donny. You'd fancy Shrewsbury to get something at Walsall tomorrow and even if it's only a point, they'll probably graft another draw in their last 2 games. Donny's best hope is Chesterfield getting no more than 1 point in their final 2 games.

Both Donny fans and Fleetwood must be salivating at an easy 3 points, can see Donny doing the same as Colchester last season and beating Burton last day just as Colchester beat PNE.

Davis has been on form today. I'm really starting to fucking despise the man. Regardless if you think he's at fault for performances, these quotes and the pure and utter contempt shown to fans should see him hounded out.

Dull Davis said:
"I think most of the fans, probably 80%, know the situation. I’ve spoken to loads of fans since we have been relegated and they have all been very supportive.

“They all say the same: ‘We know what it is about, we know the history of the club, we are very proud of the academy and what it does’.

&

“The buck stops with me. I know I am the reason we have gone down, I accept that. I’m also the reason we got promoted four years ago.

“It has been a tough job, tougher this year than the ones previous. I think it’s one of the toughest jobs in the Football League.

“There has to be a certain amount of realism. Maybe some don’t want to sit in a forum and listen to that because they don’t want to hear it.”

&

“At the last forum a lot of young supporters came up to me afterwards, shook my hand and said they hadn’t realised the job I have to do and said they now fully understand and how difficult it is.

“That was young 19-year-old kids, new supporters who didn’t understand when they came to the forum but now do understand the ups and downs of being at Crewe.”

Last home game I'm attending till a lot of things happen.

Dario Gradi "Our Academy is a bigger priority than staying in the Football League"

Waste of a Football League club, feel sorry to all those clubs in the Conference that bust an arm and a leg to better themselves.

What is the point?

Only hope left for next season is the bookies not catching on and we can milk them relegation odds.

Well, at least we got some honesty and some clarity. We'll continue with the Cat 2 academy because hey, it works. Er, no it doesn't John. Since we brought in Cat 2 three years, we've sold 1 player, for peanuts. There is no evidence to suggest that a Cat 2 model is even remotely sustainable in L2. They don't agree. Whats the Plan B if the youngsters aren't good enough? There is no Plan B. What happens if we can't attract the 3-4 players that will improve the team and add experience, quality and leadership to the group? Erm, well, Billy Bingham should be alright in L2 I suppose. Why should we expect anything other than total failure, given our shite budget and what we've signed in the last 2-3 years with more money? No answer. When is enough enough? No clue. Who would we replace the manager with should he leave/drop dead(god forbid) tomorrow? No idea. What happens if you ever wise up and sack the manager? You've said 1 win in 24 is acceptable under SD, given yourself no grounds to ever sack another manager ever again if thats the bar you're setting.

Steve Davis said we have played better football this season. John must have had that gun pressed pretty deep in his back. Or was it Dario's hand up his arse using him as a puppet? The bloke is on crack, no other explanation. We're going down playing the worst football some fans have seen in 30 years, with the lowest point total and lowest league finish in over 30 years, and Davis reckons we've played better this season?! Holy shit.

Collins sitting at the media table, 2 disgraces in 1. Shows why our 3 media guys are bunch of useless fucktards. Professional integrity? Whats that? Could have sworn McGarry was being paid by the BBC, not by the club. Well, I supposed it's called the Biased Broadcasting of Crewe for a reason. Waste of space, all three of them. They'll lap it up and be drooling over Davis, telling him how wonderful it is. Wonder if any club has media guys as bad as ours?

And 2, that snivelling little weasel Collins hiding away. I was going to ask him why he wasn't front and centre taking shit like the rest of them given his fingerprints of all over this fucking disaster. No chance to ask him what his influence has been on the first team and how much blame he can take for this catastrophic mess.

Davis did admit that he's got the recruitment wrong and hasn't been able to motivate the players. Well, if I'm not mistaken, those are pretty fucking big aspects of your job Steve! If you fail in those areas, you are pretty screwed and useless as a manager. I said to him that players don't develop under him(Tootle, Moore, Jones, Cooper, Waters, Turton, Davis, Ray, Saunders), which they don't. Wasn't really interested in his answer, I was stating fact.

We don't produce players that are good enough any more. We don't have the manager in place to develop the ones we do bring through. We don't/won't produce enough players to break even on the truck loads of money we pump into the academy. We don't have enough money to sign decent players to compliment the ones we have got.

But, as already posted above, the crowning glory, like a diamond in a pile of shit, was Dario finally admitting that the development of players was more important than the first team. We've known it for years, so I'm pleased(in a messed up way) to hear him say it. If ever there was one comment to convince me to keep my money in my pocket for next season, that was it. Had a strong conversation with Bowler afterwards, bless him, he isn't fit for purpose anymore. Neither is Dario. Was a nice token gesture of the rest of the board to speak up briefly, then back in their cages for their master(Dario) to keep control.

The club is broken. So utterly, utterly broken. Promotion? You've got to joking. If we finish 22nd next season, I'll be ecstatic. Eventually they'll realise Davis hasn't got a clue and get rid. I'll be back the day they sack that numpty. Save my money and see what unfolds from a distance.

So could this be postponed?

I have my shot gun ready and waiting for Fergie if we somehow don't win this one. If we do win I'll put the dirty waste of air out of his misery when the seasons finished.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: Holy shit Donny, you truly are fucking inept!!! How can you go 1-0 then concede 3 to our shower of shite?! Do you realise how bad we've been this season?! Well, can't even say its nice to win, because it means fuck all. Seems like Zooms was involved in the first 2 and Haber and Inman scored. Only issue is, I doubt any of them will be here next season. So there's that...

I'm sorry Donny fans but if you lose in that manner against us you thoroughly deserve relegation. I'm astounded we've won a game of football ffs!

I told you your prediction was laughable, we were always going to lose.

People seem to keep forgetting we have Darren Ferguson at the realm with his impressive 15% win record.

Absolutely belted it down with rain and hail between 1:45 and 2pm. Meant we had a fair amount of standing water in the area of the pitch under the main stand that is always mud and sand by this point in the season. All it needed was some time to drain away, hence why the ref pushed the KO back 30 minutes.

At times like this I feel sorry for people like Jim Gannon, how he is managing in the Conference North and Darren Ferguson is getting paid to manage a club like Doncaster is a disgrace. What an awful manager. Doncaster don't half appoint some shite managers.

I'm counting down the days till our owner dies, brutal but I've got no affinity to the guy and we've gone down twice in 2 years with this c***.

Ferguson is staying he's said it and we all knew it, like Dickov was after we went on a similarly disastrous run which resulted in relegation in 2014. That worked out so well. :flint:

Has it been confirmed that he's staying? How?! Doncaster's season is as bad as Leicester's and Accrington's is good. Nearly.

He said it in his post match conference.

We all knew he'd be staying, we've come to except it. No doubt in October when were 24th the board might consider a change.

Went on Mad and pissed myself at one fan giving it the high and mighty (this is quite clearly the same fan who writes pro-Davis spiel once a month for the Chronicle) about how this was a turning point for the club and we'd take some momentum into the new season. This same fan will be calling for Davis to remain should we start appallingly once again next season.

One win gets some fans of our club so so giddy. Don't get me wrong, I'm pleased we won yesterday and it seemed to me that we deserved our win but to go dick waving when we've been as good as down all season and act like nothing is wrong is absolutely absurd.

I think this has been the worst League One for many many years. Fleetwood, Shrewsbury, Oldham and Chesterfield are very very lucky us, Blackpool and Colchester are all inept and Doncaster took the role of tumbling down the table like Notts County did last year. Relegation will certainly be more interesting next season. Two basket cases relegated from the Championship, a strong array of promoted clubs in the league (with the exception of Accrington) and the decline of Swindon, Peterborough and Bury's fortunes means relegation will be far more interesting next season.
